Thank you, very informative and helpful! I wish instead of the music track during the underwater filming we just hear the original underwater sound quality. (Nice music selection though.) I realize he begins explaining the horrible audio quality at 5:13, but the sample clip (at 5:25) only shows the mic getting wet, not when the GoPro is fully submerged. I wish to hear a good representative sample of the submerged GoPro. For how long (time-wise) and how deep can the waterproof GoPro continue filming?
Thanks for the input! The GoPro can stay submerged for probably about 1-2 hours without damage and can go up to 10 meters down without a diving case. If you purchace the diving case by GoPro it allows the camera to go up to 20 meters down. The GoPro doesn't really pick up any audio underwater. It has a few sounds of splashing or such but won't pick up much usable audio. Thanks again!
Awesome video. Thank you. What I would like to know is, how this camera will perform in the ocean for surfing/bodyboarding? Since you mentioned the weight drop in a pool. It won't sink to the ocean floor will it? Other than that, I'm also interested in creating video content for my youtube channel I am working on for better video quality and clarity.
GoPro's are phenomenal cameras for surfing or bodyboarding, but I would recommend you get a mount that works well. I recommend the bite mount but that's just personal preference. However, if you drop it in the ocean, it will definitely sink to the bottom. There are cases and mounts you can buy that will make it float, however. Good luck! (Sorry for the late reply)
Your filming is improving so much and your ease in delivering spontaneous ideas is enjoyable. So proud of you and I always look forward to what’s next. One question? What happened to the lady that started walking into the background from my right and then she just disappeared?
Hey, Charlene. Try putting it in a bag of rice for like 24 hours and then charging it up and trying to turn it on again. This might dry it out, but ff water got into the main circuit board... not sure if there is anything you can do. You might also try taking it to an electronic store that fixes phones and they might be able to give you some advice. Good luck!
Absolutely! This camera handles great underwater. Just make sure that you close the port on the side real well and that there is no dirt on the seal. As long as you do that, you shouldn't have any problems. :)
Where are you? The scenery behind you looks beautiful it reminds me of back home in 🇯🇲
This was filmed in Uganda

So once you put it in water is the touch screen permanently not going to work? And same with the audio? Or just until it dries up,
Yah it's nice and potable.
Thanks for that great work your doing, good luck ✌️✌️✌️
Thanks so much! Appreciate it mate!

Nice video bro watching from ksa from philippines and i have the plan to buy go pro hero 7 white awsome 👍🏻
That's awesome!
Try putting the color mode in flat mode
I would but the GoPro HERO 7 White doesnt have differing color modes. It only has auto... i wish i could tho.
Is it waterproof without the black case?
Yes, it is waterproof up to 10 meters underwater without a waterproof case
I use it for vlogging
Nice... Is it need to set any setting if you will get the gopro underwater?
I would turn on the screen lock, but besides that not really!
