My Aussies all love to “talk” but respond very well to training. As puppies they all barked a lot, but with a steady, calm approach, they learned to bark only outside or when they were alerting. I love my Aussies, they need a lot of exercise but make lovely companions if their energy is expressed. I do not recommend them for apartment living, they need space, and lots of exercise, as well as lots and lots of grooming to take care of their double coats.

I have 3 out of 10 dog breeds. Daschund, Chihuahua, and aussie, my house is very loud when people come over. 😂

I have a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd. He NEVER barks. But you can bet he will howl and the moon/sirens. It’s friggen hilarious! 😆

My GSD must be broken, she never barks unless really spooked. I can't even train her to bark on command because I can't get her to do it! 😂

My soul dog, Lily, was part Samoyed and man could she bark! Now I have a miniature schnauzer and he could definitely give her a run for the money 🤦♀️
