You know the actor has done a good job playing a villain when the audience enthusiastically cheers the agonizing death of a teenager at his own wedding. :')
It says something that no one jumped to help him. Then afterwards they were all like "the king is dead. Oh no.... I'm so sad." Then I imagine they went on social media and posted their thoughts and prayers for the royal family.
The lady with Roose Bolton is his new wife, Walder Frey's daughter Walda: Roose told Catelyn at the wedding that Frey promised to pay him the weight of the wife he chooses in silver. So he chose the heaviest daughter. That's why Ramsay politely addresses her as mother as they meet.

@06:05: Locke is not Ramsay’s uncle. He’s just one of Roose Bolton’s bannermen. Ramsay probably grew up looking up to him (and his sadistic ways). His character was developed for the show and is partially based on another character from the books.
That "battle" with the dwarves Joffrey arranged. That scene is one of the most crystal clear delineations of whos a good guy and bad guy. They focus on each person that ISNT laughing. And a couple that are outright angry. Marjorie, Olenna, Tyrion, Sansa, Oberyn and Talia, Loras, Varys, Ser Dontos, Bronn, Pod and even Jaime was shown in the back of the play all red faced. Tommen thought better of laughing and......hes like 11 cut him some slack....... But Cersei was smirking, Joffrey was laughing so hard he gave himself the Hiemlich maneuver, Pycelle was clapping, Maryn Trant was laughing, and even Tywin had that slight smile you rarely see on his face.

@@MrBalzJohnson I can't imagine how he was planning to fulfill the terms (of marrying Shireen to Tommen) without stealing Shireen. He knew Stannis would never agree to that, that's why he was doing that behind his back. That's treason.
Yes, Jamie is still trying to learn, but as he said, he can't slay a pigeon.....and if any of his enemies find out (before he gets good with his left hand), there will be blood in the water, and the sharks will begin to circle......and someone will kill him If he were to get good with his left hand, good enough to defend himself, then he can use the story as one of "overcoming adversities"....but until then, he needs to keep it a secret
Remember your anger toward Theon......and the more brutal the torture and the longer and more drawn out, now you feel sorry for him Would you really want to start feeling bad for Joffeey? A quick death, everyone can get behind and cheer, a slow and agonizing torture, even if it leads to death, there would be people who begin to feel bad for Joff

Awww poor Joff....nah not really die you damn psycho brat!!! 🤣 Sad to say the show never recovered from this death, none of the other villains in this series can ever match the hatred generated by Joffrey. Full credit to the young actor, who also had a small part in "Batman Begins".
In the Bolton /Theon shaving scene, I was eagerly looking forward to the usual......Bolton! Then lots of bad things in Tagalog lol. Darn....🤷♀️unsay nahitabo??
As much as Tyrion disliked his nephew, he never wanted to see him dead. Let alone to watch him die in such a horrific way. So I would not say that this was a good thing for Tyrion from the family point of view. From the political and the abusive point of view, yes! Absolutely this was a good thing for Tyrion! Now let's see if Cersei will kill him or if Jaime or Tywinn will allow it! Also, chances are that, since they did arrest Tyrion, they would also have arrested Sansa. So leaving with the "jokester" or jester, Ser Dontos, would be the best thing for her. Cersei has always wanted to kill Tyrion, and Sansa, for her, would be a bonus to kill as well!
25:00 this show made us all so bloodthirsty and saturated with violence, wishing fictional harm on fictional characters. Joffrey was such a hyperbole of a character, that getting a "soft" ending like poison seemed kinda limp compared to what he seemed to have "earned". His karma still has quite a load on it to follow to the next life.
I never understood why people were happy that he died... He was such an amazing charachter that you hated with every viber... And then he was gone... and for what... for a few minutes of glee that he died... and then? Nothing!
@@interstellar.overdrive of course not the only reason but getting rid of him and og Tywin is part of the reason. And yes they could not do anything about that because of the books. But it does not change the fact that they were missed in the following seasons. And when the books run out….. well it was a catastrophe. It went from the best series ever to….. well a catastrophe.

Its so funny to watch people who were turned off by the violence at the beginning cheering for Joff's death like a bloodthirsty Dothraki.
When Joffrey died, I continued to sip my evening tea and said to myself, "Well, this night is shaping up to be quite lovely!"

In the books Tyrion lost his whole nose in the battle of the Blackwater
Also when Cersei visited Tyrion on his sickbed, the show made a reference to it with Cersei's "people say you lost your nose"
That must have been a good Easter egg for the book readers ☺️

Joffrey death was far too merciful, poison? His punishment should’ve been far worse, far more painful and should’ve last as long as possible
