    Beautiful! I am only 20 and have started working as a concrete flooring man and it really opened my eyes to all the great things you can do with concrete! I've made tables and wall art and the such. The countertop is a brilliant idea and looks amazing, especially since the cost was probably quite low!

      Awesome man! Get yourself a really good respirator if you work with concrete a lot. Silica dust is incredibly bad for you, and depending on what you're working with, on a molecular level the dust is basically barbed. Once you breathe it in, it sticks to the inside of your lungs and can create scar tissue over time leading to irreparable breathing issues later on in life. Buck up on a good respirator. I'm an electrician and drill into concrete every now and then, it's worth the money. Normal dust masks are shit and always fog the hell out of my safety glasses anyways.

      @SofaMuncher 4 роки тому

      @@twedge5397 Absolutely, I'm covered in that department! I work with lots of different sealers and chemicals as well as silicas so I have made sure I don't give myself problems later on!

    • @nameremoved4010
      @nameremoved4010 4 роки тому

      @@twedge5397 I'd think the minimum would be a full face mask respirator with a HEPA filter and the ideal would have not a filter but a outside air supply hose. Also, some brands of masks have lens covers to extend the life of the unit.

      @taishairons3524 3 роки тому

      @@Weaton777 It was a lot more work than it looks like in the video, but I love the way it turned out. Definitely very messy, so have lots of plastic covering the floor. And really tap the edges A LOT. We thought we did, but didn't, and we have air holes, but I actually think it gives a marbled look which looks cool. All in all, definitely a lot cheaper than granite or other stone. I'm just going to be super careful with the edges because I could see myself hitting it with a pan and cracking it.
