I reacted to a video 2 months ago about men getting their weave or "hair units" installed. Hair weaves or "hair units" are not unique to black men. So, I don't understand why media outlets always decide to mostly link hair weaves to black people and black culture. Every race wears weave. This is no different from a toupee but yet, VICE decides to cover this silly topic instead of updating us on something like a for-profit immigration detention center , West Texas Detention Facility, where Somalian/black men are being detained in horrible, torturous conditions. But I guess weave for balding black men is more important. -_-
The fact that he can make good money and still teach to others is a HUGE respect factor. He is taking care of others because he knows how having a full head of hair can add confidence to someones self worth
For sure, but he's also making a bunch of money teaching as well (which he absolutely should) But since the weaves aren't permanent, there's enough clientele for everyone

Wow this is amazing... I’m a bald man myself for the last 20 years, Lost my hair when I was 21 and wouldn’t be ashamed to get a piece.... but I’m good with my bald head it’s been so many years now no need for it.... but salute to the brother Wade.... He’s making a difference in people’s lives, men and woman... Can’t go wrong there...
They've been getting these hair weaves for years. The secret is just oyt now. Lots of us within the black community have seen black males in salons getting extentions to their dreads they wanted to star growing, dyes to look younger, curly perms to make their wabes look like they're mixed race etc. I just to do guys hair in our family salon. I have a gift to create beauty from ashes. Black males love me for that. That came to me for facials, pedicures, hair removal from chest, pierced ears etc....Wanted to look like pretty mix race boys.
FullCircle Google it! They're wearing silky textures, high tops etc. This is not a secret though. They've been wearing these for years. If I chose to wear extensions, I get them the texture if my hair. It justvmakes since. I've also asked woman why some of they wear hair textures that don't resemble their own. They say it's more of a fashion trend. Following their favorite Famous Idols etc. But, I'm all for anyone enhancing their beauty or trying to upgrade themselves etc. Just let it look natural to your ethnicity and features. However as we know, black males will still go in on women wearing weaves of their own hair texture. You can't please them all. I just hope this makes them a lil more sensitive and question the brothers that bash our women for doing the sane thing. I really wish our women in larger scales wore their own hair textures if chosing to wear weaves. However, Most (Especailly the younger ones) follow the culture and when working trying to claim the corporate ladder have certain discriminations already against them. Now that man weave secret is out, they should be more sensitive to the issues and fashion choices of their femake offspring. Chosing more positive ways to address tge issues of their woman. Instead of degrading the woman off spring of his own body on public platforms. Becoming the dsyfunctional entertain for the nations of men and their offspring of woman around the world. How exploits the thirst and self hate of the black males.
*The slander for women wearing wigs should be stopped. It's 2018. At least for me i ONLY wear wigs to protect my natural hair because it keeps me from having my fingers in my hair all day. From leaving my hair in a wig helps to retain my length, i can get 1 inch a month of hair, i wear wigs close to my natural hair texture and i also wear my natural hair occasionally too. Wigs are a very nice way for women to grow hair if taken care of properly! It's amazing!*
No need to justify or explain why you wear wigs. If you like wigs, even outside of a protective style, no one should say anything to you. There are times I wear wigs, of various lengths/textures, just because I like the way they look. Anyone who doesn't like that or who judges me for that can kiss it!!!
You never know what it's really like for someone with hair loss until YOU are that someone. I never really knew how big the hair business was until I saw a video of girls who literally grew their hair just to cut it and sell it.
UN FUCKING BELIEVABLE!!!! I'm a barber and this is GENIUS!! What's more amazing is how natural it looks....even though I myself am bald, and I wish I still had my hair, I dont think I can do it...I have to be my natural self, and that's bald...but this is amazing
I respect what Wade doing...Every one doesn't look good with a bold head.If you got skills continue to be a blessing to people who deserve this kind of services
its not that simple.. some people see this as an opportunity to land jobs.. others, like cancer patients, people going through depression, etc etc see this as a way to feel normal again.. and some people who go through bullying and become a walking joke gives them a sense of security its easy to be confidently bald when you are smart, educated, have a nice job, and a nice physique.. but not all of us do.. so this is a good "band aid" solution for some
And furthermore, whahe wrong with the George Jefferson? He had the confident walk, the hot dance, the fly apartment, the handsome son, beautiful daughter-in-law, the successful business, and most importantly, Weezie liked it.
WOW! This man is an artist. These guys come out of his shop like new men. Amazing! God bless him, passing on his artistry to other stylist and helping people all over the world. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ wonderful!
How healthy could this be if the glue is being applied directly to the scalp on the head? I would be afraid to have glue on my scalp because of the chemicals that are in the glue. I wonder if there is a disclaimer pepple have to sign first??
You're probably the smartest person in this comment section! Everyone is focused on aesthetics and monetary gain, but no one is thinking about the potential health implications! During the video he mentioned that some of these unit can last up to 4 months! Imagine your pores being saturated with glue for 4 months straight?! Although the skin has a low permeability factor, its none the less still permeable and certain chemicals from that glue may be absorbed. I'm happy these brothers self esteem has been boosted, but you gotta be careful what you expose your body to! I mean that hair is processed correct? There’s no telling what type of chemicals are being used to process it! Anyway you made a GREAT point, well done!!!
This is true craftsmanship and I'm glad he can put a smile on the faces of these men. We all have something we are self conscious about so this is going to be very uplifting for many.

+Dan “TalkerOpinion” Brown Uhhh, no. some of these man-weaves are long or curly and wavy,...nothing like their natural hair. it's sad how men are justifying wearing weaves even though they're falsely changing their appearance just like they criticized women for doing👎 I'm not letting em off that easy. Sorry,...not sorry
+Dan “TalkerOpinion” Brown Yeah right! And who cares what the reason, it's deceptive and fake. My point? Men, especially men of color have critiqued and put black women down for wearing weaves and wigs and never took the time to consider why. It's that stereotypical view you just gave by saying it's because they want straight hair. Women go through periods of hair loss and thinning hair and choose to wear extensions and actually I think it's more excusable for women since they love to change their look/style. Maybe it's just that and nothing more. Besides, Now men

@Dana Whitestein well you need money to do that so there's that. Most people aren't stopped by lack of ideas but rather lack of money. As for why doesn't he open up other branches, the same reason. It takes money to make money. He might be rich enough given time. Still he'd have to get the right contacts and investors, he probably tried and gave up.

Here's a tip for a man going bald or has thinning hairs: Putting eggs on your hair can promote hair growth. First get 1 egg Break it Mix it with Olive Oil(Optional) Stir Put it on your hair and leave it on for 10-20 Minutes. Using a plastic bag or a durag to keep the mix from dripping Rinse your hair. Shampoo and Condition your hair. Done. Do this Once or Twice a week. Pros: Hair grows faster Keeps hair healthy Cons: Hair may grow too fast.

Can’t go wrong there...
the difference is insane. they seriously look 15 years older

WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU GET REAL WEAVE HAIR FROM? It’s Asian.
I think Wade is definitely wearing one of his specialty units ☝🏾
Yes he was embarrassed when he asked him seems to me it looks like it
My homies hair is his. He doesn’t need the weave yet lol

I wonder if they can make one like Kid and Play. Bringing old school back.
FullCircle
Google it!

@Tee H. preach. They simple don't understand, it's really sad, but it is what it is, and we will keep doing what we want.
No need to justify or explain why you wear wigs. If you like wigs, even outside of a protective style, no one should say anything to you. There are times I wear wigs, of various lengths/textures, just because I like the way they look. Anyone who doesn't like that or who judges me for that can kiss it!!!

I respect what Wade doing...Every one doesn't look good with a bold head.If you got skills continue to be a blessing to people who deserve this kind of services
Men are just as vain as women, and for that guy in London (and all the people there) I think this is defo (!) A worthwhile expense.
its not that simple.. some people see this as an opportunity to land jobs.. others, like cancer patients, people going through depression, etc etc see this as a way to feel normal again.. and some people who go through bullying and become a walking joke gives them a sense of security
its easy to be confidently bald when you are smart, educated, have a nice job, and a nice physique.. but not all of us do.. so this is a good "band aid" solution for some

Yeah right!

Although this is really nothing new (over 15 years now), somebody need to get word to Tommy Sotomayor.
Here's a tip for a man going bald or has thinning hairs:
Putting eggs on your hair can promote hair growth.
First get 1 egg
Break it
Mix it with Olive Oil(Optional)
Stir
Put it on your hair and leave it on for 10-20 Minutes. Using a plastic bag or a durag to keep the mix from dripping
Rinse your hair. Shampoo and Condition your hair.
Done.
Do this Once or Twice a week.
Pros:
Hair grows faster
Keeps hair healthy
Cons:
Hair may grow too fast.
