Hot take: The Clone Wars is better than two of the three trilogies
The Sequel Trilogy for me simply devolved into a pissing contest between Johnson and Abrams.
I don't know if this is necessarily a hot take, but, Padme didn't die of a broken heart.

"not everyone in the galaxy should be related" is a thing rian tried to establish in tlj (and you can question the effectiveness of that attempt) but jj went back on it.
Here's a take; not a hot one, just a take:
Clone Wars' Battle Droids are the best comedic element in the entire series.

"Obi-Wan is overrated" I was so ready xD
Another thing with Phantom Menace is that apparently Padme is fourteen years old, which in and of itself is par for the course with monarchies, but then in Attack of the Clones it's revealed that the queen of Naboo is an elected position? Who the hell is electing a fourteen year old to lead an ENTIRE planet. Also in Attack of the Clones Anakin is creepy af, Padme tells him to not put the moves on her and he's like "pfft oh well, guess I'm a trailblazer" and then we're just supposed to believe they have this beautiful romance?
For a while, attack of the clones was my favorite Star Wars movie. I’ll never forget the moment when mace windu marched up and put his lightsaber to the neck of jango fett, and then give the signal to 400 other Jedi around an enormous stadium. Then a huge battle that went back and forth between separatists and droids, to the republic, Jedi, and clones. It didn’t feel like a fan service. It showed every angle to make it feel like as though the republic had an edge, there was still a high chance that they lost.
Respectfully agree with all these except the Kenobi one. You knew people had to say something about that lol.

Hot take. Clone wars is the best piece of Star Wars and generally makes the prequels better
