Yes assuming an enemy doc chose to use all his stim pistols to heal the attacking team (at 40 health for three teammates) and a Finka then adrenal surged the team (for 25 health each) the total collective health pool of the team would still only be 745, leaving them still 55 hp short of Blackbeard’s shield

Twitch really had 30 tasers that did 10 damage per shock, a extra normal drone, and the most powerful AR in the game. I question Ubisoft everyday
Her other drone at some point was just a normal drone till they changed it so you either prep phase with twitch or the other way around i forget

Right now Twitch is Bullsh*t, she has Infinity tasers but her drone is loud af you can hear it all around the map... And her weapon has way to much recoil.

No that was shit, defenders had no chance to win a duel at a window. They removed it for a good reason.
I think ubi's idea for original BB was that his shield was supposed to be like montagne's or blitz's, but you can break it if you are dedicated enough.
Difference is that blitz and monty didn't have an assault rifle also they have an exposed head when aiming down sights. Tbh i cant see why BB managed to be made. Either hes broken or useless there really is no in between

They should just rework him to have a small buckler on his arm, so the shield will cover some of his body but never his head. He will be an in-between of a shieldop and a normal op.

Blackbeards first nerf actually reduced the shield hp TO 800. I remember at his release watching a coreross Mythbusters video and he determined the shield was indestructible

All things that plenty of operators can do a lot better. There's not a single moment I think "man, wish we had a twitch on our team" because her only job can be done 10x better by many other ops. When you realize twitch technically has infinite shots so you can still kill someone with twitch’s new drone but you need to hit them 100 times

Does anyone else think that the old lighting mechanics (despite it being too low and not ideal for competitive gaming) looked way more realistic and just aesthetically pleasing? I feel like it feels more of a definitive SWAT tactical video game

@@evet2769 It was entirely for competitive reasoning, on some maps it was almost impossible to see certain ops in certain corners, so they upscaled lighting and color contrast while removing most of the shadows to allow for better visibility
@@Blue-mh2oj but now that rim lighting on enemy operators is a thing, this whole lighting rework seems pointless. They should just give us the old lighting back with rim lighting enabled.
I would just like to make the point that the entire reason the lighting was redone was because players had asked for it specifically.
They saw all of those models in the darker corners that they had no clue were there who shot and killed them, and then proceeded to tell Ubisoft

@@thelandokris2696 no it doesn't, the removal of operator grenades since Y2 has been directly tied to pick rate. IQ and Buck had their grenades removed because both play a vital role game to game in pro league but we're guaranteed picks with frags as they were multifaceted.

With Cap it was insane as his bolts plus grenades almost guaranteed a kill back in Skull Rain and Red Crow (I think they were removed with SMG-11 acog at the midseason update in Red Crow could be wrong)

Ubi really doesn’t think about the more average player base in these terms. They did the change because they figure older players would already have enough renown that it wouldn’t bother them and that newer players would appreciate it because it’s easier on them. Meanwhile ya got the players who grinded out a week in advance before a season change, knowing to get nearly 60,000 renown for new Ops because we were accounting for their attachments. Literally tens of thousands of renown...

I loved playing bank, opening a window, and throwing a valk cam on the building across the street. It was SOOOOO good. Let's not forget that Lesion could do essentially the same thing, too. Room across the way need a trap in it? That's fine... YEET
On sky scraper you could launch a cam from the top of office stairs window all the way to the top of the tower by helipad that is just across the balcony from the tea room window if you jump out and look left

-Client side smoke
-Enemy name tags
-Dropshots
-Neck shots
-Pulse 13m range + his hotswap (these were in the game at the same times)
-instantly breach barricades as if it werent there at all
-Valkyrie barricade legal wallhack/godmode/teleportation glitch (the by very far absolutely most broken exploit in Siege history even today)
-Shooting Blitzs headphones from right in front was a headshot
-Several map specific placable shield+barricade tricks that brought you into things you can shoot out from but not into (likt to lower body on presidential plane - where you were inside the lower body of the airplane)
-Using placable shields to climb on window ledges
-Mira half/half on reinforced and unreinforced surface
-Invulnerable during falling after injured animation
-Super quick leaning
-Famas 30+1 shots and no recoil
-Average of 150ms peekers advantage
-only 1 Hibana fidget spinner needed for hatch hot breach
-Every map being in ranked - even Yacht💀
-Bullet holes
Should be changed since it has been a problem since forever now:
-Hibana not making sounds when destroying a barricade
-Sound directions (one of the newer problems (only has been a problem since 3 years)
-Ash hitbox not existant
You also forgot Ela’s mf impact grenades 💀
What was the valkyrie glitch?
@@fabiorutichelli7006 By breaking 1 piece of wood using either a punch or 2 bullets (2 bullets was the preferred method since it would remove nearly as much health from the barricade) you had that piece of wood lying around. Through a camera onto that piece of wood destroyed the entire barricade. But heres the catch: Only clientside for Valkyrie and sometimes players nearby. So for attacking players the barricade was still visible, while Valkyrie could not only look and shoot right through it, but yes - even walk right through it, which had its own weird behaviors. Walking through allowed Valkyrie to shoot and knife players during the run out. But she wont just pass through the barricade, as you hope. To other players Valkyrie didnt even exit the room at all until a couple seconds (thats multiple) later where she was either rubberbanded back into the room automatically or TELEPORTED back into the room usually happening AFTER she KILLED multiple players, while being completely invisible and invulnerable to them.
This is by far the most game breaking exploit I am aware of in all of Siege history. It gives you wallhack, godmode and teleportation while not being bannable.
That old recoil looks so weird. It looks so weird where your camera doesn’t move but the gun model itself does. I like the new recoil better.

Doesnt mean I dont agree that operators like finka, lion and Mozzie are an issue.
(I still get PTSD of the Tripple threat: Jackal, old lion scan and dokkaebei)
But to find a golden spot, where castle is usefull, ops take skill to play but arent broken, castle is usefull, gadgets are also fun to use for more casual players and competitive still has a spot is hard.
And some sacrfices must be made along the way

Funny story. I mained blackbeard when he still had his 800 hp shield and I had 100 hours on him during that time, and throughout all my games with him, the shield only broke once because of 6 super 90 shots point blank

O7Michael 17 Cav barely had any damage drop off. Today, she has a considerable amount of damage drop off. You will not be able to do what that person did with that cav today unless it’s past 30 meters and they’re all headshots. Not one body shot.
Jeremiah Davis You can still basically do the same thing with Cav today. It would just require 1 or 2 (if they’re 3 armor) extra shots to body. Her pistol is still the best in the game and the damage drop off is now in line with the other pistols

forgot to add maestro no longer has ACOG on his LMG, as well as bosg acog, oh and 2 speed blitz from 3 speed.
Blitz was never 3 speed only 2 speed and then 4 speed with finka boost when that bug happen to blitz movement speed

I should have said 5 speed in stead of 4

Tried this game again after a few years and noticed immediately how the graphics have changed. It isnt as immersive and its much brighter. Its definitely missing the old R6 vibe. I think movement speed is also nerfed in general, including leaning. So many 2 speed operators are now 1 speed, which only shield operators were back in the days. And wheres all the ACOG's?

honestly the old recoil looked a lot more cooler and nicer for some reason, i think its because its actually harder to control the recoil so it made using high recoil guns an actual challenge fighting with the optics instead of just slightly moving your mouse downwards as you shoot.
