    Modelones products are the best! I got to know that brand through these videos and now that's the only brand I buy.

    I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to say the hard gel way looked way easier than the polygel option. At least to me. I'm still a beginner even though I started doing my own nails 4 yrs ago because I had to take a long break due to carpal tunnel and then carpal tunnel surgery. I'm slowly getting my groove back again. Love this set so much! Thank you for sharing! ❤

      Is polygel the same thing as soft gel?

    • @amberlynn8591
      @amberlynn8591 3 місяці тому +1

      @@tuttyfatNo, here is Googles explanation, I'm not great at explaining things😂
      Polygel and soft gel are both types of nail extensions, but they have some key differences:
      Composition
      Polygel is a hybrid of acrylic powder and clear gel, while soft gel is gel-based and doesn't contain acrylic.
      Flexibility
      Polygel is more flexible than acrylic but harder than soft gel.
      Application
      Soft gel tips can be applied with a rolling motion to avoid bubbles, while polygel requires shaping with a nail file or e-file.
      Longevity
      Both types of nails can last 3-5 weeks, but polygel may pop off if not applied correctly.
      Other benefits
      Soft gel nails don't require filing and can look and feel like natural nails, while polygel nails can be created more quickly.

    You all make it look so easy but it’s not that easy. Love this process though. It’s nice.

      Yeah, we were planning to do the green tops but then realized that it will add too much volume and decided to skip it 😊

    If someone wanted a longer nail, what kind of gel should we use? Why did you choose the mail form instead of the soft gel tips?

  • @Banana-lk7tf

    The nails look so pretty!😊 I'm confused about one thing. If that Modelones builder gel is a 7 in 1, and says that it acts as a base coat, why is a base coat necessary?

    • @Nailcou
      @Nailcou  21 день тому

      Good question 😄 True, technically it can work as a base coat too, but the consistency is so thick, for me it would be too uncomfortable to apply a thin layer of it first. That's why I still prefer using regular base coat 🙂

    How's the heat spike on the builder gel?

    • @Nailcou
      @Nailcou  3 місяці тому +2

      Most clients don't feel heat spikes with this gel, but this particular client felt burning sensation on a few nails - but she feels it with most products.
      So it depends on the nails, I wouldn't recommend to use it for extensions on sensitive clients, as an overlay it's ok
