Question: This whole corridor seems to have gotten a lot of intersections updated from 5 stack left turn heads to 3 section protected only heads. Was using 4 section FYA heads considered to allow for off-peak FYA phasing, or overnight FYA operation? Or do these intersections all run free first come first serve overnight?
@JMANWiSS due to a high number of left turn angle crashes along the corridor, visibility concerns, and conflicts with the bike path, we did not want to allow permissive left turns. It was a safety call. Late nights run a short cycle, but will be revisited once communication is established along the corridor.
