    I think Ctrl+C will select the entire biped hierarchy for you so you don't have to go through and select all one by one.

    If you make ctrl+clic on the first arrow of biped, everything expand ;)

    Could you make cloth simulation but the clothes is being pulled by a character? E.g a person pulling a bed sheet

    Hi, is it possible to use cloth with a CAT rigged body (not a biped)? it works well?

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  5 років тому +1

      Hello cloth will work with any object as long as it is checked as collision object.

    Greetings Edu shola, I am simulating a cloth modifier with my character animation but when it gets to 3 particular frames at different times on the timeline the cloth simulation freezes but the animation continues but after 3-5 frames the simulation continues again. Pls how do I solves this challenge?

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  4 роки тому

      Try to reset the cloth object to initial state and try to use "simulate local damped" instead of just "simulate local" the when it settles and simulates make sure you click "simulate" with ☑️progress to simulate the entire animation on the timeline. Let me know how it goes.

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  4 роки тому

      If that's doesn't solve it, scroll down to "simulation parameters" and make sure "start frame" and "end Frame" match the animation length

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  4 роки тому

      I usually don't check the end frame box to avoid these kind of issues.

    How to export the cloth simulation to unity?

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  5 років тому +1

      I don't know if unity has a point cache tool, I believe it's usually a .xml, the point cache actually saves any simulation or animation data into a mesh, but Unity has its own simulation tools, so just do your simulations inside unity

    Does this work with CAT Bones?

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  8 років тому

      +LCpl. Trent yes it works, it will work with any object or mesh I only use biped for demonstration purpose ☺

    • @RolloutDudze
      @RolloutDudze 8 років тому

      Thanks man! So, what about Capes? Im working on a Darth Vader Rig. (i've tried this, the Cape Deforms, but doesnt move)

    • @EduShola
      @EduShola  8 років тому +1

      +LCpl. Trent capes are even easier, you just need to pin the vertexes in the group rollout, so after you've added cloth modifier to your mesh, select cloth in the modify panel, and click the plus sign to show the drop down, and click on group, then select the vertexes you don't want simulated and click on pin, you will be asked to name the group. With that done you can simulate and the Cape won't fall off. In case you don't get it lemme know so I'll record a Tut for you. Cheers ☺
