So WWI Churchill was the First Sea Lord before burdening the Gallipoli campaign but remained on the Cabinet. He also strongly opposed Germany in WWI. Saying that just because he wasn't prime minister and had no effect on the prelude of WWII is an insult on our intelligence.
What a mess. Are you saying something about Gallipoli means that Churchill was the chief villain of WW2? Or that he's the villain because he "remained on the Cabinet" after Gallipoli. (He didn't of course. He resigned in November 1915).
@kevinmcinerney1959 Don't put words in my mouth. What I am saying is that just because he was not prime minister does not mean he had influence on Britian politics, when he clearly would. Gallipoli Campaign in 1915, is considered one of, if not the worst military disasters of WW1, resulting in Tens of thousands of allied lives lost, and even the defeat and withdrawal of forces.
