Dying my t-shirt I got in Melbourne Zoo in 2004. I got bleach on it and wanted to see if I could dye it without affecting the koala design on the front. See how I got on!
Ive discovered there is enough dye in them pods to do up to three things so long as the wash cycle is long enough! And i always add cextra salt despite what it says!
Thank you for this review. Your result looks great and it does look like a true dark navy blue which is exactly what I want. What I wanted to ask you is - the colour on the pod doesn't look like navy, it's more of a dark royal blue. I haven't bought it yet and I've only seen it in photos on Amazon. Does it really come out a proper navy?
Is a navy blue hoodie that had a red stain that after using vanish disappear slightly but it faded the colour of the hoodie quite a lot around that area. Dyou reckon dyeing it all navy would undo the fading and cover the slightly red parts?
Sorry is a lot to ask hahaha but want to get a 2nd opinion be sure before risking anything. It’s 100% cotton and has a yellow text print printed onto it
@@2pool777 Hi Tom - 100% cotton is the best type of material to dye. If the text is in the form of a transfer, it will be fine, if the text itself is cotton it will get dyed but from my experience all the cotton t-shirts I have dyed with lettering on have come up great and I would say even better than the original colour.
@@remapyourlife I’ve just finished dyeing it and it’s worked, can’t see the stain or fading and the text is fine! Just doing the wash now after dyeing but thanks for your vid - was exactly what I needed :)
