Your actually such a good vlogger.. you share the raw and real-time stuff .. you don’t just say “I’m doing this. Now this… now this, etc.” you actually show behind the scenes, your workouts, your food, your prep, your friends , your nights out? Etc

I love that you’re trying to grow closer to your faith. I’m also doing the same, I feel like as a nurse- that is a must. There’s a lot of things we will witness that we won’t understand. That’s why we need to run to God and trust him when we feel lost/confused ♥️

Sadie Robertson podcast!! I listen in the car or on walks pray before and after and it’s so amazing!! I understand the things you are struggling with am in school to be a teacher and I see kids with so many disabilities and/or family home life that’s just so awful it’s hard to understand why !

ANNA! I think all nurses feel this way! I have had so much trouble as a new grad leaving work ‘at work’ and not taking it home. I carry my patients with me every day and become wayyyyy too emotional over them! I pray over the medications before I give them for their healing properties. It’s also important to remember that the Lord put you in their life for a reason, and vice versa. Idk if any of that made sense but I’m absolutely sobbing typing it bc it hits too close to home! Pray pray pray! Oh… and lots of therapy 😅 I’ll pray for you, for the Lord to give you strength, and for your patients! Love you 🫶🏼 thanks for being a light for so many! ❤

Anna-you can get those pens in fun colors too-pink/light blue/purple and light green.
For the Tupperware, take some baking soda in a baggie. When you’re done eating, sprinkle it in the Tupperware. Baking soda absorbs odors. Should not smell when you take it out to wash.
Finding that balance bewteeen work (nights) and life is not easy, but I think you’re doing a great job!

Believer here! I am proud of you for wanting to get back into your faith, it can be so hard when things in the world are hard like you mentioned. It is something I think is natural to question as humans. I wanted to encourage you in that, just by the mere fact that you are asking questions and seeking answers from others on youtube and the clip you posted on tiktok shows that the Holy Spirit is working in your heart right now! Even though you feel far from God, He is gracious and is still pursuing you Anna!! Lean in and be receptive of answers people have to offer, you never know who or what God is working through to teach you/grow you/speak to you!! I love your videos; your hard work does not go unnoticed!! Praying for you sweet girl!

You got this Anna💗🌷💗 After years of trying to understand the 'why', my progress to date has been this, appreciate all that you have and all that you can impart on others to leave them better than you found them. It doesn't have to be big. But it's called human kind'ness and it's the sole reason we are here. Maybe don't look at the girl with sad eyes...she only knows life through her story. Instead show her kindness and laughter and love. Stay kind to yourself, adaulting is hard, for all of us, but you are here for a reason 💛💛💛

This is my biggest struggle too when it comes to faith..the question of why do horrible things happen to such good, innocent people? Why do children die but the elderly that are so sick and frail and waiting to die outlive them? I find myself saying, "Where are you God?" I think this is normal...we aren't supposed to understand it all. I think the main thing is to try and stay consistent in praying and working to be the best people we can be each day. 💜

hey Anna, I love that one of your goals this year is to build your faith and prioritize God!! I completely understand why you have questions like that, as so do I, and truthfully idk if we will ever have the answers to those kinds of questions -- I do know that there is an enemy in this world that wants destruction though. Also, in that story you explained about the girl, her struggles could be used more for the people around her than for her. God's plan is SO SO much bigger than me or you could ever fathom but His plan is also good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Another thing I recommend is bringing those questions before God because He loves and cares about you and wants to help you understand. He loves you so much!
I hope this helps you ((: xoxo

Bad things happen to good people because we live in fallen world ever since sin entered in through Adam in the garden. That was not Gods plan and its only through his grace and mercy alone that we are able to be forgiven from sin and never have to face the consequences because he did it on the cross. The Lord does not create sin, the devil does. The sufferings of this life do not compare to the glory that will be revealed in us. I am praying for you, Anna. May the Lord continue to work in your life!!

Hi Anna! I am a Christian and used to ask a lot of the questions that you were asking! I think the answer to your questions, "why do bad things happen to good people?" Is first of all that there is no good person (read Romans 3!) and that we also have to realize that we live in a fallen world that is plagued by sin and death so that is why you see sickness and death in the world which is hard to wrap your brain around in some situations but as believers we have the hope that one day all will be made right in the world and there will be no more sickness, death, or pain. Until that day, we have to face that reality that we live in a fallen world. I would commend to you to listen to Dial In with Jonny Ardavanis and also Simply Put podcast (those are only 6 minutes long that talk about really big concepts easily and simply put!)

As a follower of Christ, I can relate to how you feel so much. I struggled with anxiety/depression while in high school and wondered the same thing. “Why do bad things happen to us/good people. Why does life have to be like this.” I found there isn’t really a true answer to this…it’s just how life is. There are good things and bad things in the world, but we just have to remember our goal is to get to heaven. God has promised us a wonderful eternity in heaven where there will be no pain, no suffering, and only peace. (Revelations 21:4) This is the thing that keeps me going and hope that this is helpful to you. I will be keeping you and your faith in my prayers. Thank you for being so vulnerable with us, we love you! 💖

For one, it has you. and us talking about God and increasing one's spiritual walk. The more you read God's word and the more you pray, more will be revealed to you, in time. You have to make spending time with God a priority, like Orange Therapy, you don't go to the gym one time and see progress, consistency is key in building your faith. As disciplined as you are, you can do it! God loves you so much Anna.

I've given some thought to your question why do Bad things happen. That's a difficult question to answer in a comment section, but I would try to look at the children that you care for in a different way rather than their afflictions being something bad. It is offering them a chance to be closer to God through his grace, knowing that he is always there with them to help them in a way that a lot of other people may not be able to experience. His mercy is shown through wonderful nurses like you that care for them. They're afflictions give them a chance to learn about patience and acceptance. They may not experience all the things that you do but they experience things that you do not

Hey Anna, I am a nursing student and love your vlogs! I love that you want to grow your faith and get closer to God! The questions you have pertaining to -why bad things happen to good people- is a very common question I am sure most people have had! Reading the Bible and praying is the best way to hear from the Lord as we have His Spirit to guide us and reveal things to us! I recommend reading the book of John as the story in chapter 9 aligns with the questions/thoughts you seem to struggle with regarding that. As a Christian I have also had seasons where I had the same question and sometimes it applied to things happening in my own life. I can testify though and say that God always has a plan for good (Romans 8:28) (Jeremiah 29:11) (James 1:17) and His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts! (Isaiah 55:9). It is important to remember God doesn't cause bad things to happen, but the enemy or the devil does! The enemy is the ruler over the world and the worldly things in it (sinful and destructive behavior) he comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Jesus is our Savior and He loves us! God loved us so much that he gave us free will to make decisions. Free will opened the door to sin-- beginning with Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis. God sent His Son Jesus to die for us to save us from that sin--(John 3:16)
A great app I recommend to help you along this journey would be the Bible app & GLORIFY app --glorify has a daily passage, devotional, song, and reflection that you can read and or listen to! I also recommend you purchase a study Bible, which can provide you with more context!

Hey! For the “why do bad things happen to good people” question please look into Job Chapters 1-5 (preferably from the life application study Bible or from any commentary) Job was a righteous man who truly tried his best to follow God and His commands. Job went through many unjust trials and Job didn’t know the reasoning why he was having to go through so much pain and loss and that’s what hurt him the most. Job’s faith was being tested during this process. God never gave him a why but instead God asked him to trust Him through the process. It’s human to want to know the why, we live in a world of cause and effect, but if we always knew the why there wouldn’t be a need for God.

I truly believe that God is not this being that was put here to decide our fate for us. He does not make people sick and he does not allow for bad things to happen. But God and Faith is a GIFT for us to help us get through this life. Disease, poverty, natural disaster, racism and so on were not created by god however he resembles hope and something to look forward to during the dark times. It truly is a gift to believe in something bigger then yourself especially when tragedy happens everyday. So if you ask me, they are entirely separate.

    • @rainamihaichuk3723
      @rainamihaichuk3723 Рік тому

      IN MY OPINION
God is not a person we bow down to. We are not below him and he does not rule. However He is apart of each and every one of us. God resembles what it means to always strive to be the best version of ourselves no matter how that looks. I am not someone who believes in strict organized religion. Although I appreciate people who are. I just believe the amazing part of spirituality is we can to decide how it looks for us. It’s individualized and just like we are. I personally struggle with a chronic illness and I don’t believe this man named god gave me an illness but I believe through my spirituality god doesn’t give me strength but he shows me that I had it all along.

I truly cannot imagine the things that you see on the daily. I can only imagine it’s incredibly difficult to come face to face with the brokenness of this world daily. So many of us can go about our lives and see brokenness here and there through the hate, divisiveness, and just overall suffering. My only piece of advice would be to go to Him with your questions. Grapple with Him. He already knows your thoughts and your heart, but He desires so badly for you to go to Him, spend time with Him, cultivate that relationship with Him. He loves you, He loves that little girl, and He is acutely aware of our suffering. After all, He did live on this earth as fully man and fully God. He was persecuted and He was sentenced to death on a cross. Ultimately, even though we can’t understand His ways because He is God, He is our only hope in such an obviously hopeless world. 💕

Anna I totally recommend reading a few books that cover universal spiritual truths!! Seeing the world through a wider lens of all religions is so freeing and helps answer some of these bigger questions better than Christianity alone can. I was raised Christian and love the concepts within it but a lot of my spiritual growth has come from books such as you can heal your life (louise hay), conversations with god (Neal Donald Walsh), anatomy of the spirit (Caroline myss), untethered soul (Michael singer)🥰😘😘😘 love u queen

Also I understand that your confused on why such a good God will allow bad things to happen to people who have done nothing. But if you think about it that child is missing out on what our world tells us is “normal”. He gives people bad situations to live out their faith, and to glorify Him through their struggles. This shows other non-believers how much God has to offer.

Bad things happen because the devil is trying to ruin our faith in God. We are called to rejoice in our suffering knowing this earthly life is short and temporary. Greater things are coming for us in our eternal lives. We give everything to God to pull us through ❤️

Hi Anna I love that you are trying to grow I your faith. I think that to answer your questions you need to look to the word. In genesis it says that we were created to be apart of a world without suffering, but when Adam and Eve turned away from God they brought sin and suffering into the world. But God is good and sent his Son Jesus so that we can be saved eternally through him. If you want to know more books like Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis might help shed a light on some of your questions as Lewis himself asks the same questions you do.

I would also read Revelation 21:1-4, it talks about what God has in store for the eternal home of his people. Hebrews 2:14-15 shows God's plan to end our suffering required Him to suffer. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says how God comforts those in suffering and makes you able to comfort others in the same way.

John 9:3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
