Speaking as a coach and watching ,you turn your anger into a push to be better. I’ve been a cheerleader and I’m now a coach so I’m able to speak on both parts. Making smart comments to someone who only wants the best for you is a slap in the face. All love ❤️
Yes! It's like even more exhausting trying to put out positive vibes and uplift people who are putting out negativity themselves.

I feel bad for Amanda passing out on the highway that could have been fatal. All these injuries are crazy I think the Cali curse is real. Like Tara, Bre, Natalie, and Amanda and they are all flyers.

@@rhylerember It could have been a stroke or Bell's Palsy, maybe. I had a friend who had similar symptoms recently and everyone was sure it was stroke until she went to the doctor and they told her it wasn't. Apparently, Bell's Palsy has a lot of the same characteristics of a stroke, except it has to do with facial nerve damage and causes sudden weakness in the side of the face, dizziness, and headaches (the pain in her temple). I could be wrong tho

i dont think eddie was mad at her for telling him what was going on it was the talking back under her breathe that got her in trouble. the stop getting in our feelings was directed at the group then she came back with a smart response to him. i love cami but part of what makes eddie such a good coach is he has the smallest patience for BS and talking back and not doing what he asks. regardless of her being frustrated thats still her coach so she has to communicate in a way thats not taking it out on him. he did the right thing here.
I don’t like the fact that cammi was punished for speaking her opinions to her coach about her teammates negative attitude. I don’t believe from what I seen she was rude honestly she just wanted Eddie to listen and address the issue,but instead he punished (her) by making the team do mermaids crawls. At least she had the balls to speak up and not mumble under her breath. That whole situation left a sour taste in my mouth tbh.🤷🏿♂️ but I don’t know what happened before or after so with that being said whole heartedly believe Eddie is a good coach and only wants to see them win.
lemonheadkt I totally agree but I think what made it worse was when Eddie and Cammi started talking about fighting. Like Eddie didn’t need to say that but Cammi didn’t need to agree with that statement. I applaud her for speaking her mind and for being bold enough to speak her opinions but maybe if she could’ve done it in private or just said something a bit different, it wouldn’t have escalated into something like that.
she was complaining about the rumbling by adding to the rumbling. As a leader/veteran that people look up to, her attitude wasn't helping the situation. She's allowed to be frustrated but the way she handled it wasn't the best and she even acknowledged that.
Destinee Thames exactly. If she would’ve pulled Eddie to the side and spoke to him in private about it, then maybe it would’ve been easier and the results wouldn’t have been so harsh

The trainer's attitudes are less than kind and less than sensitive to the human beings giving it their all.
That said it is breathtaking how these kids can fly and rotate through the air seemingly without the effects of gravity.
Okay but when Joey spoke his mind it was okay. I wish Cami didn’t get shit. Like everyone was being negative and she just was kind of the voice for it. She wanted to let her coach know what was happening but it didn’t end well
I agree but the “maybe we do” was unnecessary and disrespecting her coach. And knowing Eddie he doesn’t take that tone from any of his cheerleaders

McKenna Doyle Joey spoke his mind to the team to get them in the game and what they needed to hear, he didn’t disrespect orby or any coach, cami did, if she would have handled it better and not make smart remarks, the outcome would have been better, just like she said, she could have handled it better.

Halle Souza they’re older, so they’re bigger and taller. It’s a different division. Yes it’s lovely that he doesn’t seek out small girls, he just picks the best options. I’ve had that happen on my teams - if you’re more flex but taller or heavier, we’ll still pick you for flyer. You’re a good option :)

I think Eddie shudve listened to Cami a bit.
People need to be heard when they are upset and needing to explain why. Listen to them, ask questions and tell them your understanding of what is bothering them. Ask if you are right. If not listen again, question again, find out if you understand it better. It seems like it would take a lot of time but not as much as you think if you are listening. Don't interject your ego.

Orby might have come off like he didn’t care. But him keeping calm and telling her that she’s okay. And acting like nothing wrong is trying to help her stay calm as well.
Catherine Yanke exactly. He totally cares but it’s not a good idea to actually talk about how bad it is when they’re acutely hurt. Talk it down, keep them calm, talk frankly later when they’ve had tests and they actually know what’s wrong.
Just like when your child gets hurt and you know it's bad and inside your freaking but you stay calm so they don't get scared everyone panicking just makes the whole situation worse. Especially in a group situation.

@@Capreeca I this it might've because Orby said they're about 7 weeks before worlds, and when I counted back from the world's date (April 27) it goes to about middle of March and NCA was the beginning. but I'm so too sure. they don't really show competitions anymore.

Umm excuse me he is not over training them. They are very strong athletes and they can handle it. Also he did not make it about him. At first he was like “uhhh why does have to happen to me” but he realized that it wasn’t about him. He did not make it about him though so calm down. Just because you can’t handle conditioning doesn’t mean they can’t they are very strong athletes

Kat Banville it is easier to fly. It’s about a 5-7 hour drive to LA from the Bay Area depending on traffic so flying is the quickest option for her

OMG I so do understand the frustration of it all. Me myself as a former acrobatic gymnastics-coach do understand the difficulty and danger of each move or routine you have to do. Accidents happen when you least expect it and more so when they know their stunt already by hard and did it for weeks without any troubels. Than at one time ... BAM ... they fall and break something. So annoying because as a coach you cannot do anything to stop it :( I do get it when you get a little bit selfish as well, hey we are only human and don't want such things happening to our children or group. Don't be ashamed of that feeling ;) But on the other hand, the workethic they all have and the drive to push further and go on ... That is a true SPIRIT of a CHAMPION. Keep that head held high and GO ON. I, and a lot of fans, do believe in you.

I did gymnastics for 6 yrs and when I tell you it was litterlly the hardest thing ever I’m not lying
It was SO difficult
(I do dance now so far I’ve done dance 3 yrs)
I get Cami’s point, when people begin to mumble under their breathes and drop rude comments due to frustration it can become really frustrating, but I love how Eddie handled the situation. No arguing back, mermaid crawls, done and done.

Tia Marrow oh no, definitely! But sometimes the anger just gets to you, I just respect how Eddie handled it, he didn’t add fuel to the fire by arguing, he just sent them to do mermaid crawls. A good way to her anger out and let her think before she speaks like that again

I understand why Eddie reacted how he did, but I also understand Cami’s view.
My coach cracked it at us last training, because we weren’t working as a team, we were coaching each other instead of listening the our coaches. He was right in saying that, and reminding us that we weren’t hitting the stunts 2 levels below our level because we weren’t helping our stunts, we weren’t doing our jobs.
Coaches have to be harsh sometimes, but it’s also right for athletes to step up and be strong and tell their teammates to stay positive and not play the blame game.

Some people are mad about how Eddie responded to Cami, but the way he kept his cool and enforced consequences after he had already said “don’t say anything unless it’s encouraging”, was the mark of a good coach. Some coaches would get in their feelings if a team member talked back, and he didn’t.

I tried cheerleading and it’s hard !!! One of the most difficult sports ever !!!! I use to be one of those oh cheerleading not a sport . But now Ik it is !!!! You strong strength and and be flexible to be able to do this. I HAVE TOTALLY RESPECT THEM!!!!!!

I’m really surprised at how many adults do competitive cheerleading. I didn’t realize that was thing! makes me wonder, if they work or are in college as well.
its all really interesting! so obviously there is club cheer which you can do for awhile. So when people graduate especially cheerleaders, they try to go to good cheer schools that are close to club gyms. So college cheerleaders in California all go to cali gym. Texas cheerleaders go to cheer athletics, etc.

Good God Eddie, they are struggling because you've worked them for hours and they are exhausted. They lose their tempers at each other because they know you're going to give them more. Lots of the time you're right to push them, but I think sometimes you don't notice when it's time to stop pushing
