Blade stop is an American invention originally used for wood table saws, and it really works.

Thanks for your comment, Richard. BladeStop™ was actually developed in Australia initially for the meat industry. It is a band saw that utilises different technology to Saw Stop which is a table timber saw.

@@ScottAutomationRobotics that may be so since I am having a very hard time understanding how a MEAT saw that is chopping up "fingers" non stop can distinguish between a pork loin and a thumb on me. It seems an impossible task to determine the human element rather than on the USA timber saw stop where you can stop the blade with a hot dog.

I'm down for working safely, but woollies are absurd with their bullshit. If you have used a non blade stop bandsaw and learned how to do your job properly there's minimal risk anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️ fool proof the work because you hire fools
