I open 3 blasters of 23/24 UD Extended Series and realize this product fits the retail format way more than hobby. Connor Bedard Rookie Cards are also on the cards.

The pack with the greenish tape looking stuff was from the factory. It's from the roll of pack wrappers, and usually is on the start and end of the roll to keep it from unrolling. The sections that have it shouldn't make it to packaging, but there are always ones that slip by. You see it more often in Pokemon and other TCG's

Ehhhh I bought 2 tins and got 0 young guns. I would not say the tins were better. Nothing was guaranteed in them except for those Dazzlers packs which I did hit an orange Bedard with. I got lucky though...and still didn't get a great return.
Series 2 I pulled 3 Bedards in one ton. YG, red dazzler and checklist silver outburst!
I bought several Series 2 hobby packs at $30 ea and got literally nothng. I got 2 tins and got a bunch of YGs, including Zary and Benson, Bedard dazzler & others. Then bought 2 blaster pks at Walmart and got an oversized Bedard YG and more YGs. Screw hobby boxes and their $
pulled me a base seeing red bedard paid for my blaster box basically and pulled a young gun, a draft day, and a retro young gun not bad at all!
Bro I opened several of the retail boxes, single pack version 24 cards. I pulled a UD3-3 Bedard but that’s it. Pulled a Young Guns 701 Cooley and lots of cool rookie inserts. But no luck hitting a big Bedard.

Decided to get back into collecting TODAY and one of these blasters was my first break. 4 packs total and only cost $36 because Gamestop Edge discount. The most interesting cards I got were young gun Matt Savoie, draft day ridley greig rookie, brock faber bee hive rookie, green dazzler matt poitras, ud canvas travis dermott, seeing red gold chris kreider, black diamond rookie gems zach benson. Not bad for my first 4 packs and 36 bucks worth. Kind of happy with it. Also picked up a couple cool base cards like McDavid and Draisaitl all star cards, and some other inserts, seeing red panarin, silver skates crosby, beehive kyle connor, ud3 matt murray, matty beniers holoview. Love your videos as well.

They still have the same configuration as they did in the '90s. It's all insert driven, and inserts aren't very exciting
I love the idea of the extended series just for the extra cards but liked it better when it was in SP AUTHENTIC

Found a place charging only $30 in Quebec. Their S&H is quite cheap, too at only about $12 for eight blasters to NS.I opened one blaster and one hobby so far, I like blasters more.
What shop do they have it online?
These blasters are solid. I picked up Series 2 and Extended from Quebec shops too.

Bought my son two blasters from LCS and both boxes banged out a Fantilli and Cooley. I payed for 3 box inner and didn’t get any top young guns. Got two deluxe , 4 clear cuts , 2 canvas YG and 2 day with the cup. Very odd ratio. Not complaining. The time spent with the little guy and the rare pulls made it all worth it. Oh and one specialists of Kopitar that sold this morning on eBay. ❤

40 Canadian is definitely pushing it, but yes if you can find it sub 35. Blasters have that retail-exclusive Seeing Red parallel so if Bedard is your thing, this is for you.

Weird. Around here all the Walmart stuff gets cut in half, if it sits for too long. And where I used to live the hobby shops would constantly have sales on blasters and whatnot.
I just got into hockey cards. This was my 2nd box, and I think it was pretty good. My first box was a 21-22 Ice because it's all they had at that Walmart. Saw this at another Walmart and had to grab it. I have a 22-23 extended series tin coming in the mail today so I'm stoked to open that. After that I gotta take a break and figure out how to tell what cards are what 😂

Bc the odds overall are similar and the risk (money spent) is much lower.
