Each month Epic Games gives away a number of assets for Unreal Engine developers and December is no exception. This month we have 5 new assets that are yours to keep forever if "purchased" before the first Tuesday in December.

I’m the dev of procedural npc crowds, thanks for showcasing it. It works differently than Mass AI which is still experimental and doesn’t use behavior trees.

Looks very interesting. Improving performance couldn't have been easy.
I finally got it to work by using my own characters instead of the ue4. Still a bit wonky cause I’m not sure if I did it right but I had to re create my own spawner using my own npcs then I loaded that spawner into your path system and they generated.

Heads up the people claiming that I am doing illegal actions with Procedural NPC Crowds like scamming epic games or price gouging are lying, the reason the pricing is different in Mike’s video is because he lives in Canada which has different currencies than the US which is what pricing is set in for publishing.
This is 100% ture.
1 - you are seeing regional pricing
2 - the Canadian dollar SUCKS right now... About about 35% different

Most of the time, yes. So long as it's not made by Epic. Double check the license though.
Read EULA first... before converting.
Last time I checked, you can unless made by epic (it's stated in the description that it's for unreal engine use only) BUT your game would be under their eula and you would need to pay to the 5% fee above your first million for a game and no royalties for movies. But they have plans to monetize the latter.
So in short, yes but be careful with the licenses

You misrepresented the combo asset because you're rushing again and not actually understanding what you're talking about. Its not purposely for stringing combos, its for buffering combo inputs. So if you press a combo fast (while the animation for attack #1 is still playing) it will remember the other presses for a bit and execute them instead of ignoring the inputs. Thats super useful and its the major draw of this asset. Take an extra 5 minutes and just comprehend what youre presenting.
Even if it's somewhat direct and could be construed as harsh, I think it's good criticism.
He might have adhd. At least that's what I gather from my own observations. I'm not a clinical professional, just a guy with a lot of experience with it, and with people dealing with it. So that might be somewhat of a challenge for him. I'm not condoning this kind of behaviour, just giving a possible reason for it. It's something for him to be considerate about towards himself and to learn from.

@@DeltaNovumIt doesn't matter if he's got ADHD, he can take a few minutes to formulate his words especially since the first line of the description goes as follows, "Easy combo buffering will let your players send an input for a move before the last execution is finished."
Actually in this case I couldn't. I normally have more time with these assets before the giveaway goes live. This time due to holiday constraints limiting things, this video was very much rushed to get out in time. Sometimes it happens.
But even with buffering thats what you are accomplishing, stringing combos

self teach in your free time with youtube and google. start with an approachable game engine like godot.
buy a ryzen 5600x and rx 6700xt £500 and watch alot of you vids and practice, college is a waste of time
