As far as Myth 3 goes about farming over ganking/map impact. If yall haven't seen Kingstix video where he crushes a streamer playing fiddlestix it's perfectly illustrates that concept. The fiddle is completely focused on trying to farm for his level 6 powerspike while ignoring everything else going on. And Kingstix is playing AP nunu and just ganking and stealing camps like crazy while tracking the fiddlestix. Absolutely shut the game down by just disrupting everything the enemy team had planned instead of worrying too much about a preset clearing path. According to him just being a cheese perma gank/invade Nunu worked even in Grandmaster games.
Also, I was playing a game as support the other day and we had a karthus jg who solo invaded with no prio and spam pinged me and my duo when we didn't rotate and he died. I feel like people just see the experts say stuff like "you should invade with Karthus and steal camps" and just do it without thinking about if that's a good thing to do in this specific instance. Like if both your mid and your bot lane are shoved under their own towers you should be ganking not solo invading lol.

I feel like you left one out that most people don't seem to understand....
GANKING IS A TEAM EFFORT!
It takes communication and coordination between teammates to pull off a successful gank.
I can't even count how many times I have pinged I am coming to lane for a gank and my lane hard shoves the enemy, or actively doesn't participate in the fight and wonders why I'm mad at them.
I know when I have a bad gank and will own up to it. But since Riot changed how pings work... It's a chore just to ask someone to ward a bush before the match starts.
