Hi Zangi I’m currently studying in the US, as an Undergraduate student from Zambia and I’m happy to let you know that you do not need to obtain an American diploma in order to study there. The easiest way to get into American universities is to take standardized exams like the SAT and the ACT. You can take these at a number of different places in Zambia. Rather than bombard you with a lot of information, I’d be happy to answer some of your questions if you reply this comment!
