Not gonna lie, Monika's cartoony design makes _Doki Doki Literature Club_ looks like a Disney show. I wouldn't be surprised that GIFFany from Gravity Falls predicted that game.

Monika is honestly my favorite on the channel. She’s an interesting one, and her flaws are just about perfect! She’s greatly characterized - I mean, represented, throughout this channel!

“Anyone who had even *sniffed* DDLC is accurate. I only ever watched half a video from matpat’s gtlive of ddlc and still got recommended the song. To be fair, I ALSO listened to the ghost and Molly McGee a couple dozen times… but that was over half a year ago, and the gtlive even longer!

I’m not gonna lie when I saw the guy trapped in Monika’s DDLC I was literally simping for Monika cause she literally looked so cute in that video 😍

To all the people asking for this to be a real show: how? This is a fun intro, but the premise is too restricting to make an interesting show out of. I could see it being a mini series, but imagine a standard 25 episode, 20 minute per episode, season where they're in the same room for all eternity with no other characters to speak of. There's so little options for possible conflict.
Well, I could see the show being short and kind of silly.
Like the second episode being about Monika trying to make the perfect reality by creating things that the Guy seems to like or miss from the real world. Like in the first episode they go to the perfect date and the Guy is kind of considering to stay there and then he realizes that everything is false. The third episode could be the Guy attempimg to escape from Monika, she discovers him and they have like a fight. The next episode could be the Guy still trying to escape with the reality being kind of broken thanks to Monika, then they talk and make a deal. The following episodes would be Monika and the Guy jumping from game to game to get to configuration of the PC or something like that.
No ideas for the end but That's kind of the vibe i got from the intro.
Maybe as something on adult swim? Kind of like a parody in a sense
How would it not work as a series? Some Isekai aren't far off from it. Just add a Captain N the Game Master element of a guy pulled into a game world with a fourth wall breaking yandere , maybe even travel to various game realms like Captain N and you have a show premise. That's even without going the dark psychological avenue game theorist predicts is under the surface.

It's good to see that Vanna's version of Monika is getting some love. It also shows that the fandom for Doki Doki Literature Club is still ongoing with the fan content they make. Not unlike another series with a still active fandom… Of whom Vanna managed to build her channel's base off of (*cough* MLP: Friendship is Magic *cough*).
Speaking of the latter, considering that a certain bearer of the Element of Kindness still has a presence on the Melony One's channel, I'll say this:

I love Monika, her personality is close to mine and I just overall relate to her Talking about random subject's and ranting about them, what she was talking about in Monika Googles herself wasn't Garbage, it was interesting to listen to and overall the best part of the video for me, I watched it the whole way through

These videos alone made me love Monika even more. I always felt so bad for her, being trapped inside the game. Unable to be a choice for the player, and knowing that she’s nothing more than a character in a game. I don’t blame her for doing the things she did. Hell, we’d all do the same thing in her shoes.

4:57 is referring to the animation on UA-cam called Group 5 which featured 5 characters made by Van’s boyfriend named Nick Dante. One of the characters was called Jeffery and he was known to play games so this is a little call back to that. He unfortunately stopped that project for reasons I don’t remember but I hope he continues it one day. Group 5 was legitimately funny and he made some videos about almost each character too. They should still be on UA-cam
I think the reason she did this is for build up for the GRAND REYTURN, but if not it's nice to see it being talked about.

When I first read "Nick Dante" in the description and decided to search it since I loved the animation, at first I was surprised to see I had searched it already, who knows how long ago ...then Group 5 popped up and I fell into a fully fleshed nostalgia trip.

I do not know if this team's channel decided to create their own series of The Guy Trapped in Monika's DDLC or not but if they do, I would like to see the story arcs such as GTA 5 Arc, Star Wars: The Old Republic Arc and FNAF: Security Breach Arc. I mean, imagining them going through these games together must have some impacts on their relationships in some ways somehow.
