Hi, thanks for the video. At 45:03 the Length2 is the value you can enter to Pad a sketch in two directions. In the Pad dialog instead of "Dimension" click on the arrow next to it and choose "Custom" then you can enter 2 values in opposite directions. Sometimes it's useful... Congrats for the sponsorship awarded.😎
Thanks a lot :) , did not know that will try that on my next 3d print project have 1 coming up soon ,need to designe a box for Learn electronics Repair channel , For his mister bleep project, Diode tester that beeps different and shows different colors depending on the junction measured :). and thank you again for the support it really helps :)
You're welcome. In fact later on in the video you went to the same option but in the Pocket for the screw holes on the base (Body 2). You were fighting to get those holes protruding the base/ case bottom flange/lip ... Please always refresh (Blue round arrow icon) or just left click over an empty area. Even on the Solver section there's a refreshing button for the last action/operation to take effect on the 3D image. I was following your ZX Spectrum video when you replied here. I'm a ZX enthusiastic fan. It's stowed in my garage along with its peripherals and as I recall on the expansion connector there is a bit of raw PCB for the alignment 1,5mm thick approx. You've used folded paper, impregnate the paper with some cyanocrilate to make it tougher for best results. Cheers @@RetroUpgrade
@LFANS2001 Cool :) i am still a noob at Freecad a lot better at Fusion and normal AutoCAD inventor but considering i no longer have access to a license if i am making "monetized content" i want to learn the opensource alternative better . regarding the paper shim used i actually 3d printed some shims that fit quit nicely and can b glued in with super glue , already assembled 3 cards , i finally got my oscilloscope 4 channel , its a cheap one but with 4 channels i can track down the noisy signals and maybe reduce the interference to make a really clean RGB output , its actually quit clean considering all the talk about noise issues online in different forums :) . if my calculations are right the pcb + parts should be less then 20€ to build , witch is considerably lower then the ZXHD ofc you need a UpScaler but you can choose your own in this case :) and thank you for the tips on freecad all help is appreciated :) used wrong account on first reply :P
@@Johadart Hi . Yeah sorry , was actually going to show how to do this but the video got to long so I cut it out. I'll make a dedicated video regarding the inserts , they are awesome tool for any 3d print or plastic repair
