You are right. First things first. He made an initial move going to L&P simply because he has vested interest in it. When he mentioned about "betrayer" I can imagine Mr Gao must have done it. It will not be easy to be integrated back to society for him, because I feel like he is naturally a "closed" man. Having said that, there is where he also excel in deep thinking and pre-planning his moves. This is exciting to watch.

I'm expecting each episode to have 10m views by the end of the year. This show is one of the best I've seen. It served the fiction lover in me so well. Literally the best drama I've seen in a while. From their little enemy era in the beginning to them beginning friends and then lovers..the journey was just so so beautiful and then when they meet again after 3 years, this is such delicious content. The osts are beautiful and the cinematography is nice too. And most importantly, the chemistry between feiyu and jingyi is out of this world. They really became one of my most favourite pair like in top 5, and I'm saying this as someone who has seen 100+ kdramas. 10/10 show thank you to the entire cast and crew to putting this masterpiece together. I'll definitely be rewatching it alot of times.

I’m just like you, saw too many kdramas and cdramas and I was bored af until watching these two. The story is quite realistic and interesting, and their chemistry is mind blowing good as young actors. Their eye acting especially is incredible. The best thing is it has happy ending.
