I could see the yonhet selling legendary variants of guns that you can later get from weapon droppers thru a menu afterwards in halo infinite campaign. Give us more open world, make some shopkeepers or even factions of them, such as a few camps of jackal traders who perhaps also give quests, which can definitely be done. Also, if arbiter were to join the fight again we could get playable eilites... And if we had a friendly set of brutes they could be playable as well. Basically bring back the partner function but make it so you choose who you bring, and then if you don't player two is whoever they pick, or if partner is there you can each have one and have an elite partner ai, brute, or Spartan. Let us unlock these partners with things that we do. Basically just give us a deploy screen before mission start, and let us access it from the garage or something
If we're going back over lore, could you do a video covering the kilo 5 trilogy? I think it's one of the greatest stories in Halo and is super underappreciated.
@HiddenXperia I just finished re-reading the trilogy. So, it's hard for me to pick something specific. Some points might be Juul Umdama's story, Admiral Osmond's rise to power, and maybe the alternate viewpoints through which Dr. Halsey and the Spartan 2 program are seen (Osmond, Staffan Senske, etc. Vs Chief's viewpoint that we see in the games). Idk. Just some ideas. I think it's one of the Halo universe's greatest hidden gems.
I believe the slugmen are actually the sub species of lekgolo called Khantolekgolo. Both of their lore is based around lost records after the fall of high charity and I think it’d be cool if 343 intertwined both of them together lol
I could definitely see a Covenant Master controlling a Sharquoi being a boss fight in a future game/dlc. A Covenant (rebranded) Banished Master challenges the Chief with the Sharquoi, after killing it you fight the Master. Then once you kill him it’s revealed that there was one or two more Sharquoi that are now out of control and you now have Banished Forces helping Chief and UNSC take them down. Only to immediately ho back to killing each other
That would be cool. Only difference I’d make with this is instead of banished working together with us, you’d hunt the remaining sharquoi and witnessing then mauling many banished troops. It would be almost like another boss fight except the sharquoi are fighting you and the banished, and the banished are fighting you and the sharquoi. A three way fight that makes the boss easier because more things are attacking it but also the setting is harder because you have more enemies after you too
Hi Xperia Dude. Through the 'dark times' of 343, there are very few content creators who soldiered on with our childhood dream game, but you did it. And for all your hard work and dedication I deeply thank you in admiration, you got real main character energy like Arby 'n the Chief do xD Would love to see you in some games of Halo one day Peace
that first creature, the banished arc in Halo is the best time to use them imo, you have probably the most intelligent and physically powerful brute ever leading an army that could beat the Covenant. if they controlled those creatures I feel they'd be a more intimidating army than they already are.
Honestly you could probably make an entire series of videos about all the Halo cut content that ended up getting canonized. Personally I’d love to see one about “ambient wildlife” like Thorn Beasts and Blind Wolves.
bro wtf the last covenant fringe video you posted was literally recommended to me last night after none of your videos have been in my recommended for a while... the rothschilds are up to something i swear
6:30 I think that in perspective they were removed and rarely seem again because they are impractical, they may be tough but not invunerable to weponry and there are other units like the Hunters (Lekgolos) who already occupy the niche of "tough armed big guy" much more effectively from a "gameplay" and storical perspective.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Oosa was ever actually a part of the covenant. So if that's the case does that mean that the Covenant Masters armor style is an original Sangheli design? Would be pretty cool to see a video on something like that
You should do a therory of what happened to the UNSC Spirit of Fire and where they are as of 2560 during halo infinite, are they still on the ark? What happened to Dr. Ellen Anders? What the status of the Ark's flood infection if Atriox and the Banished are gone? Ive also been wanting to ask you, do you think the whole "atriox is dead" was ever something that was true, the banished have this newfound unity as a result of Eshuram seemingly lying to the Banished about Atriox's death and id love to hear your thoughts
@cosmictreason2242 Regardless it would still be fun to theorize about it. Just because 343i won't continue weaving the intricate threads of lore, doesn't mean we can't try it ourselves.. Personally I would love to see a video about it, even if it's merely conjecture, it's better than abandoning the story like 343i did.
I hope we fight these in future halo games the slugmen serving as agile stealth units, having armor on their rear and giant shield like shoulder pads, being very fast but exposed, and can switch to being tankier but slow, kinda like flood ranged forms. Sharquoi as super melee tanks, much like flood juggernauts. And the Fish creatures serving as very athletic melee enemies that can hop around the battlefield, cling to walls like Drones, and upon entering water, can swim at extreme speeds, but they have low health and halo 3 brute power armor. And the Yonhet, having the same health and strength of marines, with covenant armor and new, original weapons, like a spike rifle, shooting small metal shards at the same speed of a brute spiker and ECT Just some ideas for possible enemy types in future halo games
I think Halo should introduce new contemporary species and maybe even more alien alliances/empires that have nothing to do with the Covenant and the Banished, some of these unused creatures feel very consistent aesthetically yet not similar to the Halo aliens we've seen thus far
Those first guys are so big they'd work perfectly in Infinite. If they decide to scrap Infinite then hopefully they'll use a modern engine like CryEngine, Frostbite, UnrealEngine or similar that could support cool new stuff.
When halo 2 came out my dad had preordered over 10 copies of the special edition I just remember going to my local GameStop and my dad handing me a huge stack and thinking man my life is awesome
My personal opinion is that Marathon is an alternate timeline to Halo. Or, well, that Halo is an alternate timeline to Marathon would be the better way of framing it. Halo's universe is one where the W'rkncacnter/Primordial was imprisoned differently, leading to his release and the subsequent destruction of the Forerunners. Marathon's universe being so similar yet so different is due to the lack of the Primordial's escape. The Forerunners quelled the Flood in Marathon's universe, and still existed in small numbers during Earth's 1970s and 1980s. Not quite a shared universe, more a What If for Marathon's universe.
I like the Masters, but probably mostly because of that art that has been properly updated to the "modern" Halo aesthetic. The digsite pre-Halo CE assets don't quite fit into what Halo should look like.
I wanna see these with better graphics than the OG Xbox. The Slugmen & Sharquoi have peaked my interest. Resilient, sounds cool, but I still wanna see these things become infected by Flood. The Dazreme, seem pointless since it's basically a fishman that lives in water. There should be an enemy that can fly but is also terrestrial.
I'm not a fan of the Sharquoi. or at least not the way they were introduced. I enjoyed Envoy, mainly since Cole Protocol is my favorite book in the series, but I thought the mind control plot didn't really fit the setting.
Any idea of what it would mean if EVERY species in halo was in a single game ? Chaos ! But I'd sitll like to see sharquois in a future halo title or in an update for infinite
I’m sure 343 is gonna do the same thing with tthe new enemies that they did with new guns. They’re just gonna copy already existing enemies making them completely fucking redundant so I guarantee these guys are just gonna fucking replace jackel’s and elites with something else that all do everything they already do and they’re legitimately going to say “look at this new innovative stuff we brought to halo aren’t you guys so impressed with us”
hey hidden? ive been curious about what happened to the prophets/san shaijum after the events of halo 2. Have any lore or theories on this? The only story i know of is from one of the halo books where a prophet and his elite allies found an asteroid field made up of parts of a shield world where a unique group of elite revolutionaries.
I wanna see DLC for infinite and the name ahould be: chief throws hands with Atriox. And from tik tok thr song should be left right and im right left or however it goes
The Yonhet fall into that alien design for me where its just "Human but their head is sort of messed up" it has got to be one of my least favorite design choices people make for alien races in media. It's also part of why I don't really like the design of the Forerunners.
play endless space 2 on computer it has forerunners in it and the other stuff and weird egyptians and weird everything its like marathon and halo put togeather in galaxy on fire 2 or 3 kind of way big trading game and space simulator build ships and fight wish it was on ipad
The one thing that really annoys me is; if that element harvested from the fragment of Installation-04 was so deadly to humans only...how did even a number of those present in Ground Zero survive? Locke himself was barely 10 feet away from it, yet he wasn't even affected as far as I remember. It's one of the many, many, MANY gripes I have with that movie. It had a lot of promise, but it slipped through so many cracks there was barely any surface.
9:16 Another theory as for reason for the Slugmen being chosen for artifact retrieval missions could be because they maybe have a trait similar to that of the Thanolekgolo from Halo Nightfall which can "sense technology", perhaps making them useful in navigating large Forerunner constructs and networks?
@HiddenXperia Yeah, I mean we all know how confusing it can be navigating Forerunner structures (*cough cough* 343 Guilty Spark and Assault on the Control room)
Didn't High Charity use specially trained singular Lekgolo to dig through the more ancient parts of High Charity? The Slugmen could be entire gesalts formed out of these worms as a sort of spec-ops crusader priests
A Sharquoi, Slugman and Staff-Wielding-Fish-Guy walk into a bar...
Ouch
I swear, if we don't get shark elites in the next game I am modding them in.
@@jurassicarkjordanisgreat1778 now I'm just imagining elites with shark fins and gills. maybe a tail and webbed hands

Maybe they are the Elite version to mermaids?
If we're going back over lore, could you do a video covering the kilo 5 trilogy? I think it's one of the greatest stories in Halo and is super underappreciated.
Depends what you wanna see, I've covered quite a lot of the ONI-related stuff before, anything in particular?

@@HiddenXperia can you do a lore video on the creatures of halo both on planets and the rings?
@@HiddenXperia A video focusing on Staffon Sentzke's story would be amazing.
@@Andrew-qe3fd Guess I spelled it wrong. That's what I get for relying on audiobooks. Lol

Couldn't agree more, like the RvB guys on Crows Nest, Xperia and Act Man debating something as a couple marines is a must at this point
The original fringe video was one of my favorites I am incredibly glad you remade it :)
Seeing some fresh covenant units in the game would be so cool!
that first creature, the banished arc in Halo is the best time to use them imo, you have probably the most intelligent and physically powerful brute ever leading an army that could beat the Covenant. if they controlled those creatures I feel they'd be a more intimidating army than they already are.
The tankbeast looks like something you'd come across on a blackstone fortress in the 41st millennium.
Honestly you could probably make an entire series of videos about all the Halo cut content that ended up getting canonized. Personally I’d love to see one about “ambient wildlife” like Thorn Beasts and Blind Wolves.
The Yonhet were also called out in Cortana's message in halo 5, there was also one in halo renegades.
Lekgolo have so much potential, we've just scratched the surface of the cool forms they could take
bro wtf the last covenant fringe video you posted was literally recommended to me last night after none of your videos have been in my recommended for a while...
the rothschilds are up to something i swear
6:00 be cool to see these guys appear in a Halo game maybe with another of those Vertex relics being found or made in some Forerunner facility
When HiddenXperia releases a new video its a good day.
I think the Pfhor looked at the Covenant and Banished, saw what they got right, and considered what they got wrong
I bet the tankbeast is what inspired the skitterers in Halo wars 2. Look and sound very similar

I really like the Dazreme. Ripjaws was my favorite Ben 10 alien and they kind of remind me of him.

One thing I have noticed about Bungie is they like to use Lekgolo to be different things and ideas
This is great, a lot of your old videos treated very interesting topics keep it up.
Cool a remastered up to date lore vid of the Covenant Fringe species.
The covenant trading for relics is strange to me I figured they’d just take them all by force lol

Not that I think anyone cares, but there is actually a Yonhet character in Halo Renegades... So there you go...
Here we go boys, another Covie vid!!!!!
For the first time in a long while, I'm actually learning about Halo's story. Exciting!

I'm making a fan made Halo 2d game that has the Slugman and the fish looking one in it.
Recent subscriber and I'm really enjoying your content and your enthusiasm 😊😊
Ayyyy appreciate ya chief, thank you! 🫡
Yess! Lore! Yum yum yum lmao Cool beans 🔥
Say what you want 343 does great with lore building
This might be the earliest I've ever been on a video.
Covenant fridge
Sharkoy are about as subtle as the chainsaw massacre trying to be a cooking show.
My favorite was the first one that you talked about in the video
The fish people just by the headdress kinda remind me of the fallen
I am hyped for all these remake videos!
The Tankbeast reminds me of the Dragoons from Starcraft.
When halo 2 came out my dad had preordered over 10 copies of the special edition I just remember going to my local GameStop and my dad handing me a huge stack and thinking man my life is awesome
You should do another video on the meddlers
I'm trying to write a Halo novel-kinda thing, and Reme is one of the planets the crew visits
The fish elites thingys ive always been interested in knowing more imagine the technology they have also
2033? Nah, the Halo Nightfall discussion can wait till the year 2097...

can we look at the video of a sangheili in a mall? I really NEED to see that, when did that happen?
Have you done a video on the unidentified ship that crashed on installation 04?
Slugman is a vibe let’s be honest
I still have my Halo 2 collectors edition. I bought it at launch.

The Yonhet, that’s pretty fringe bro 😂
Cuz… the show was… cringe…. I’ll walk myself out
U didn’t talk about the knee bug
What mod was that in H2 with the Sharkoi?
Tankbeast just seems like a concept for the Scarab and the Sharquoi probably got cut because they’re so similar to Hunters 🤷🏻♂️

What about the stalkers i would love for that frindge species to be canaized and no not the flood stalker
