I think that the accordion player needs to stay with group. He can play exactly like Ruben Vela and that is awesome! Ruben de la Cruz can play this style which is great, but this guy can play like el chapparro de oro
Question....can someone tell me ? Is that a new accordion player in the group ? Is he related to the late Legend Ruben Vela Senior ? Is that other accordion player not in the group anymore ? I think his name was Jerry Mejia. This accordion player is really good too 👍.
Hello Reymunda I'm the new accordionist.. I'm not related but Mr. Vela and I were very close. He was like a Grandpa to me and was also my accordion teacher. I've always looked up to him as a mentor and idol. Its an honor for me to keep his music alive with Ruben Jr.
