Because Ian didn’t want himself filmed. Honestly, it was very disappointing for the audience who stood for hours to see them for them to not use the big screen. Maybe he has some sort of height superiority? They disappointed a lot of tired, sweaty fans when they appeared as tiny specs that could be occasionally viewed between swaying heads.
Echo & Siouxsie - the most hyped up acts for the past 4 years since Cruel World was first announced.... and we finally got them in 2023... and good riddance! How disappointing! But don't take my word for it: watch the videos. Every other act, whether vintage or new, did much better. The oldest one was Iggy Pop, who, at 76, makes every Doc Marten,, black clad lethargic Goth act look like pussies. The man takes no prisoners and delivered a killer show as if time hasn't affected him at all. He didn't post messages bitching about needing Geritol and Ben Gay on his social media like most of you people have.
Sounds like you might be the one who needs to stay home and watch videos. A lot of us really enjoyed ourselves. Weird to spend a bunch of money on tix and everything that goes with it if you're going to wallow in with a sh*t attitude. Ah well.
