Smash has names for every single move as well. Unfortunately most of them aren't listed. But I have an official Melee guidebook that names of all the attacks for each character, and I know that moves in Ultimate are named as well.
See I've been hyped for Zim since it was revealed he was in this but I also like to play not popular characters. Like in SSBU I play bowser jr. That being said im very excited to see have similar zoning tools and a similar UpB
Zim fighting only using his pak legs is very Canon to the show and comic. I do wish he had a voice, even if they just reuse laugh clips. Not hearing him laugh like a maniac is definitely saddening.
Voices should be getting added if we buy and support the game. It will increase their budget for patches, and will show Nickelodeon it's worth investing in. The team said they'd definitely like to add voices in the future, they just wanted to focus on making the game "good" first.

Playing as "Danny" and "Zim" won't feel right if I can't hear Danny insulting his opponents and for Zim we need to hear his iconic laugh along with Gir saying a stupid lovable quote everytime he appears.

Tbh I’m concerned if they add voice acting because certain moves are supposed to be used a lot and what if the voices get annoying repeating the same attacks? Also what about Oblina her voice actress sadly passed away what’s gonna happen with her?
It's really weird how wide the range is in terms of model quality here. Zim, Catdog, and Spongebob all look great, but then Danny Phantom and Aang look pretty rough by contrast.
Hopefully it's because these were recorded on older builds of the game (we know these aren't thrown together a week before posting, they take time to make) and they'll look better on launch
Danny and Aangs models look a lot like their models from older games. I think they just ripped them from those older games which is why they look a lot worse than catdog and Zim which were most likely original models.
I was expecting "Looks like the Irkan fleet is mobilizing, looks like this is about to become a BATTLEFIELD!". Also Zim looks mad fun, best kit design I've seen

Not only was this my most anticipated showcaes, but im beyond stoked to see he plays as my favorite arcetype of fighter, trap based zoning. *evil zim laugh ensues*
They gave him the shock spear?! That’s so cool! And the intricacies of how you control Gir is so interesting! And that stage.... that actually IS Planet Blorch in the top left! I’m not sure if it should be this close to Conventia, but I hadn’t even noticed until it was pointed out! Yeah as a massive Zim fan I’m pleased with how this moveset turned out!

I know I’m clearly late for this, but I gotta say GIR’s really excited to be a banzai assistant for Zim in this game. XD A lot of Zim’s other moves are pretty cool references too, such as his Minimoose attack, and Irken Armada Invasion looks so cool for a stage with wicked music to boot. :)
That's now EVERYONE from the base launch of the game! And OH GOD, Gir and Garden Knome is annoying asf but ... Is anyone surprised? ZIM will do anything to ensure his DOMINATION!! And at long last... Our Battlefield stage is here! Classic 3 platform layout!
Penguins Move-set: Light neutral - Together Punch. Light up - Penguin uppercut. Light down - Fish slap. Air light neutral - Penguin star. Light dash - Spinning stack. Strong neutral - candy cane swing. Strong down - squid slam. Strong up - knife stab. Dash strong - Car dash. Neutral special - Dynamite. Up special - reindeer power. Down special - Biting bats.
I hope later down the line they get a bigger budget or something and add voices. I was never a Nickelodeon fan but I love invader zim and ren and stimpy and to play this game with friends seems like a blast!
I was waiting for the Zim reveal since the SpongeBob reveal, I kept checking back over and over again but it never released. As character showcases came out, my impatience grew. Surely, the next one HAS to be Zim, I kept thinking. Tomorrow is the release of the game, but ZIM is finally here now.
I gotta be honest, despite me liking the idea of the game and the passion and effort behind it, it really just never feels ''right''. First, as many already said, there needs to be voices, there is not a single grunt or groan when hit. It would be enough to just re-use pre-existing sounds just from the old serieses, no need to rehire the voice actors. Then the sound feedback just feels so light, even the ''heavy hits'' feel barely different from the light hits. There also feels something wrong with movement, it just feels like there is no actualy weight to each character. Some iconic characters just look a bit weird like Danny Phantom or Toph Beifong. I really appreciate the effort for the game, the soundtracks and the stages are good, but overall I really have to pass this game. At least at full price.
If VO is ever added to this game, Zim's victory pose should be changed to him just laughing maniacally please

... and it should be him, laughing on top of his house (or have his spider legs just mimic the pose) like in the intro sequence

As someone who enjoys trap characters Zim is looking right up my alley. Him and Oblina seem to be my go to’s.

Zim stage is similar to starfox stage(Brawl,wiiu,ultimate)
In terms of layout, it’s a lot like Battlefield from Smash.
I appreciate the fact they gave him spider legs as a default, instead of them just being part of an attack.
Professor membrane should be on the top of the list for DLC. He would be beyond broken, but who cares.
The bassline boss like sound when the warship approaches.... nice touch!!

The extra spider limbs make his light and heavy moves seem unique in comparison to the rest of the cast.
