Derweil geht es mit der Harrier als VTOL weiter.
Im Simulator funktioniert es schon wie gewünscht.
Ich habe ein kurzes Video mit den ersten Schwebetests des Rumpfes eingestellt.

Danke Markus! Kannst du beim Matek Board die EDF Funktion frei wählen, so das Yaw nur über die Servos gesteuert wird?
@@renerosentraeger , hallo Rene, ja das funktioniert mit einem kleinen Trick. Es ist dazu aber keine Anpasung der Firmware notwendig. Alles über die Parameter. Als Simulator verwende ich den Realflight mit SITL. In der neusten Version ist eine Harrier dabei. Diese habe ich entsprechend angepasst. Dort funktioniert auch schon VTOL und Transition vor und zurück.
Cant wait to see the vtol and see how you handle the transition to normal flight. I will for sure be building this once all that is ironed out. Great work!
The Harrier is not just made for transition. It's a cool jet all over😁💪💪

Rene, amazing analysis, design and destructive testing. I would like to no more about how you transition from hover to forward / backwards flight from a radio setup standpoint. I was on RC-jetprint and saw your excellent documentation pdf but nothing on radio setup. Amazing work and keep going as I want to print this project. I am a very longtime heli and fixed wing flier. Keep going and thank you for the amazing project!

Like how many layers, what resolution, what temperature, fill %, retraction speed, etc. Is there a document that exists on your webpage somewhere ?

The lightweight PLA is it a material which could be used in countries with high temperatures, in the high 30 to mid 40 degrees Celsius?
In this case you can use the HT LW-PLA from colorfabb 👍
Was für Spitzen nutzt ihr auf der Kleberflasche? Hab leider noch keine passenden gefunden. Aktl. muss ich die Flaschen mit dem Messer anpassen, das ist leider nicht immer dicht.

What were your flight times in vertical hover and when doing short takeoffs?
With short take off up to 8min and hover is tested at the moment...about four minutes with VTOL start 👍
Die Harrier ist soweit fertig. Aber leider noch etwas zu schwer. Aber mit dem bestellten Akku sparen wir 100g.
Bei der Verkabelung ist auch noch etwas Platz zum Abnehmen.
Der Schwerpunkt und die Regelung sieht schon ganz gut aus.

Hallo Rene, was hältst du davon, Flugstabilität um die Längsachse zu erreichen, indem du nur eine Flächenverwindung ( 4°?) vorsiehst- keine Vortex- Generatoren? Habe mit einer Schränkung von 6° das Kippen um die Längsachse meinem Eurofighter abgewöhnt!
Hallo Joachim, die Vortex Generatoren dienen der Auftriebserhöhung. Eine Schränkung wäre in unserem Fall kontra produktiv. Ein Delta wie der EF erzeugt von Natur aus Wirbelzöpfe und braucht daher auch keine VG. 👍

Yes it is possible by dividing the parts on your slicer. Better get a bigger printer, check my review playlist for this.
