I love Nicky/Skull's entrance at the very end. It's not just that he's wielding a sword. It's not just that he opens a boarded-up basement door. It's the fact that _he doesn't even touch the door to open it._ It just swings open by itself to reveal him holding up his sword, like the door and the wooden boards keeping it closed just knew better than to defy him.
He has grown so crazy, the WORLD around him knows better then to defy him.
I think it’s funnier that this means the door was never locked, they just never tried to open it and assumed it was locked.

The neighbor and the kids are both innocent, the secret Shadowman in the Hello Neighbor theories is the main antagonist who was in the form of the Neighbor in Secret Neighbor.

That isn’t entirely true though, his isn’t innocent, he abused his kids in the books .
(and we’ll probably see that footage sooner or later in the cartoon/animated show)
He also locks Nicky in the basement on purpose.

I also really like the continuity with the neighbor and Mr.Petterson fighting and that we got to see what has happened to them.

Man, the ending is so amazing, and the reason is because of the fact we have one question: "Who won in the end? The neighbor(Mr. Peterson), or the player? " as we know, they were both wearing gloves, and we don't know who would have won, since we only see one of them stroke the painting at the end.
