- I play with pleasure on ME25, it sounds dynamic, round. The guitar works sensitiv.
GT1 HiGain Amp Sistreaming the guitar still works.
However,when playng solo,it sound as if it is going through at least two noice gates.
Connected directly to amp sounds much more sharply as the sound from the headphone input. If you want to record from this place, you have to set everything up from the beginning. In ME25 the headphone sound ist the same as from output L R of amp
The most remarkable are FX stereo Effects GT1(Delay,Reverb)
So the amp simulations hi gain are not so good in this device. But OD/DS sounds quite good, my favourite is LEAD DS.
Attention: In both devices I turned down the chorus modulation to "0". This allows you to get in case of the ME25 a pseudo stereo effect..

In the midtime I let to know the Boss GT1 from another side. I`ve critcized MARSHALL sound,but the connection Amp.symul.FENDER clean (naturl clean),or FULL RANGE Amp.symul.with OD_DS gives a wonderful Hi gain sound.
In these connections Boss GT1 shows its advantages.
It schuold for sale but I will leave it for me.

I will never sell my me 25 . Very clean and natural sounds
I had the GT-1 and loved it! I prefer to just use and OD pedal or distortion pedal but these units and the ones after are getting really close to the stompbox OD sounds.

Esa gt1 es ridicula. Quisieron mejorar la me25 basándose en la gt1000 para sacar un producto horrible como es la gt1. Sin duda trae mejores prestaciones pero en sonido incluso suena mejor una zoom g2nu con chip zfx3 de la antigua generación. Puedo confirmar lo que digo ya que tuve las 3 pedaleras mencionadas. Actualmente uso 3 pedales boss (bd2, ch1, dd7) en un vox ac30VR. Aún conservo la me25 y la zoom G2NU. LAS AMO. De vez en cuando las uso.
La gt1 la cambie por una guitarra ya que era tan mala en sonido que ni me dolió hacer el cambio.
Conclusión: la anticuada boss me25 es mucho mejor que la gt1 en sonido.
Yo quiero hacer sonidos ambientales. Vi que en la Boss ME-50 se pueden agregar el mismo efecto varias veces (tengo entendido), ¿Sabes si eso se puede hacer en la GT-1? O si sabes cuál pedalera puede hacer eso

@@robson6491 Its a shame, I can find a mint GT1 selling for the same price as an ME-25, the GT1 looks like the better deal.
Though I tend to play to amp more than direct.
Can the noisegate in GT1 be bypassed if at all?
You will find suerly an opportunity to buy GT1. By both you can bypass the noisegates.
That what I showed was Marshall sym. It sounds good with power accords. For solo it is too less sensitive. It is possible that you find some other combination.
I succeeded with others amp.sym.
20 years ago I could only dream about such effects. Have a fun with it!

I have played several different guitars,with compresor as well. I have tried Boss GT1 im a shop (as a second device) and ist sound really so.As I have already written ME25 sounds simply ,sensitive,and works perfectly with the guitar.
GT1 has beautiful FX stereo effects,ME25 -not bad ,but in mono.
I have been using both together

Try GT1 or compare with the ME series (ME-25,50,70,80)

Why is there no hum? I have me-25 and i think my distortion is pretty noisy. Can you give me tips without using noise gate?
Hi, the noise gate you can in 0- 10 levels. Press the exit and keep it and press write. You will see Ed on the display. Now you can with memory pedal 1 or 2 change it. I hope it helps.
go to your bank which is noicy
set for Ed (modify tone)
>press EXIT
>then press " up bank change " that mean middle button.
you have to press both button(exit and bank change) togather. and set it 0 to 9. you can easily reduce noice

The ME-25 sounds warmer but a little bit old style. The GT-1 sounds quite more modern and bright. But, it they can be matched if we get an IR CAB =)) So, actually ME-25 is still so so good.
The 25 is still way better than any other effect board. They all have a tini sound but the 25 had super stack put them threw a valve amp threw the clean chanel and there great

Me series from boss ia great sound.vintage and real.modern sound it's okay no problem.i am user fx boss me 80.amazing and simple great sound.it's carakter sound from boss me 80 on distortion and delay to lead is good sound.good job boss.i like it❤️❤️
I have the two already sent. I have bought ME80. It is not of the newest generation, but I am glad to have it. On my latest films you can hear how it souns in my system. Thank you and greetings.

Poe em um PA, no palco a diferença fica gritante, linha GT é a primeira linha da Boss, série ME é a segunda linha já bem ultrapassada....

Marshall Plexi тоже устарел но пользуется огромной популярностью спустя 60 лет! Так же и с процессор BOSS ME-25 он звучит как старый MARSHALL PLEXI! Это супер продукт и не один современный процессор с бюджетом до 500 $ не сравнится по звуку!
I think Boss me25 has better physical ampnthan GT1.

Eu achei a gt 1 com o som mais brilhante dependendo da simulação, já me 25 e mais grave e aveludada os timbres.

Apenas efeitos FX em estéreo são bons.
Eu consegui um bom efeito conectando uma distorção separada.

Enquanto isso, comprei um zoom g5n e tudo bem, mas em algum lugar o chefe fica na minha cabeça e no meu coração.
Talvez o GT100 seja o que eu estou procurando, mas é muito complicado de usar. Eu já tenho problemas com gt1;)

Yes the effects in gt1 are more spectacular and in stereo

Why the red light of boss gt 1 is blinking
On this preset the button is set on tape delay. It shows the rhytmus and when you press the button you set it . It is blinking so fast as you are pressing the button.
Here's a stupid question. I already own the GT1. Would it be worth getting the ME25?

The main difference between the devices is as I said in the description, regarding the Marshall HI gain. Meanwhile I found other AMP simulations in the GT1 and you can be happy with them. In the GT1 you have more and better FX Effects. I think if you connect an externe distortion pedal, TB screamer, you will reach a very good effect. Thanks for the questions. Gt1 uses the same engine as the gt100... Its way better and this video doesn't do it justice..
I think the sound comparison could boil down to how complicated the Gt-1 feels sometimes. I can get a better sound out of my GT compared to my ME-25 but, dialing it in is much more complicated. I am assuming that is why we get the poorer sounding GT here…
