CHAPTER THREE: Into The Shadows - Adversity threatens to extinguish the light and thwart us from our dreams.

CHAPTER FIVE: See The Light - Stepping out from the darkness, our light pulls us through and moves us forward.
CHAPTER SIX: Light Your Way - We must hold on to our light and trust it to see us through.
CHAPTER SEVEN: Light Is In You - The future is ALL of ours to light!
State-of-the-art technology is woven into a performance of light and shadow, creating a magical dream of the light inside of you.
The show utilizes projection mapping, pyro, flames, fountains, lasers, and lighting to give you a fully immersive experience.
Follow your favorite princesses, heroes and friends on a story of light and dreams.

As with other live entertainment in the park, the presentation of ILLUMINATE! A Nighttime Celebration may be impacted due to inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions. For example, during poor weather including but not limited to high wind, poor air quality, heavy fog and/or lighting, we may adjust or remove the fireworks effect, or temporarily delay or cancel the show.

Unfortunately, the fireworks got cancelled on New Years Eve because of the TERRIBLE smog in China. The smog was WORSE than the smog a few decades ago when it was the biggest problem in China, WORSE. Literally the government shut down ALL firework shows across the country (mainland China, at least, HK Disneyland still did fireworks that night). At least Disney handled the situation well and gifted nighttime tickets to the park to view the fireworks.

Such a bummer about the fireworks being cancelled due to the smog! It's impressive how Disney stepped up with nighttime park tickets. Here's to hoping for clearer skies next year!

Couldn’t they just continue the show with only the mapping projections, fountains, and mist screen?
