Thanks for the great review. It convinced me to choose the 17 over the ISO 5 and I'm loving the shoe. By the way, your video is probably the sharpest 1080p video I've seen on youtube - I have a 4K monitor and I thought I was watching in 4K!

Looks like saucony is definitely making the right decision moving away from everun. Hope they do the same for the ride series!
If I can make a suggestion, I have noticed that lost of reviewers of running shoes never show (or indirectly, or too briefly) the inner side part of the shoe (along the arch). Many runners have problems in this area, due to a misfit of the shoe with their body type/weight. So maybe try and show that area as well please. Otherwise, very nice work on your vids!
I feel like these run a bit big, I'm a 12.5 and these fit roomier along the toes than other shoes.
Saucony have been doing much better in the looks dept. the last 12 months or so, and this shoe sounds very, very promising...but that whole heel area in black is a little weird and ugly looking (in my opinion!). Perhaps it will look better if the forefoot area is also in black. Anyway- great overview and thank you so much...and lovely scenery. Greetings from Dublin, Ireland. (fun fact- Saucony Kinvara is named after a small coastal village here on the west coast of Ireland where Saucony hold an annual 10K, half & full marathon in March) ***EDIT....I have just searched this shoe online and there is a lovely grey version being released. Also a black version- both are quite nice- much better looking than the blue version...no harm in looking cool when you get a good workout right? :-)

is the forefoot wider than gorun ride 8? i'm waiting for freedom 3 because it has less drop but i need a long run shoe right now. my current long run shoes now are gorun ride 7 and maxroad 3 but they both give me blisters on medial side of my forefoot on runs longer than 15k.going half size would make them too long for me.i heard grr8 is wider but not breathable (tropical weather here).
I like the change of Saucony´s cushion foam i´ll grab a pair when prices drop a little bit. I like everun in topsoles, over eva midsoles like in the Ride 9 or the Ride ISO I, but i really dislike it in full midsoles like in the Freedom ISO.
My current favorite shoe is Saucony freedom iso 2 because of the everrun and the rubber outsole. Rubber outsole shoes have more responsive ride IMO
Bolaji Badmus this was more balanced than the freedom. I liked the freedom 2, I love the triumph 17.
Would you recommend this to someone looking for a trainer thats fast yet high cushioned? I've been dealing with some injuries and need something with more support.
LognaTheGreat I would highly recommend this it’s a lot more Stable to most high cushion shoes. Feels similar to a fuel cell in terms of foams it’s bouncy rather the plush. While still being supportive around you’re foot. If to do pronate I would definitely try the library iso 2 it’s has a arch posting and a more engaging feel.
So far definitely fits the bill but early in testing. Only issue is the weight when you say "fast". Not huge but up there. What have you been training in?
@@RoadTrailRun Recently ive been using the Peg turbo 2s, I know they are fast shoes, but personally I rather slow down a bit and not get hurt than prefrom during workouts and be out for races. I just don't feel secure in the turbo 2s around my heel and it sucks cause I really like the ride they provide.
How do compare the triumph 17 with the new balance propel and 1080v9 ???
@@azzamazzame1494 closer to 1080v9 by weight and cushion than Propel but bouncier than 1080v9. Please hang tight for more testing and full review

How does it compare to the Kinvara 11 and how flexible and soft does is the new Kinvara 11? I prefer the 4mm drop???
More cushion and weight for sure with T17 and bouncier. T17 much more a trainer but K11 can be a find trainer

More support and softer for Triumph 17 but considerably heavier and not nearly as smooth under foot as Skechers
I buy triumph 17 and l not recommended this shoes. Midsole not soft for me. Maybe because my weight 67kg. They not bretheble, very hot shoes. They heavy. And you feel this. Clifton 6 mach batter
Help me decide between this shoe and new balance 1080 v10???
Depends on what you are looking for and your training paces. Triumph almost an ounce heavier bouncier and more substantial. 1080v10 more responsive, firmer, faster. For slower paces and easier running I would lean Triumph, for faster paced training 1080v10
I’ll wait for the pwrrun+ kinvara that doesn’t weight as much as my leg
Gregory King the Kinvara will have PWRRUN which is a TPU/EVA blend not the all TPU +. I expect the PWRRUN to be lighter than +.

i think saucony need to fire the designer and they will sell a lot more shoes
....they are doing much better design wise in 2019...just saw this shoe in black version and a grey version and they are both very nice looking shoes! Google them.

Looks like a gd training workhorse. That colour scheme is terrible.
...as I mentioned to a few others google this shoe it also comes in black and also a grey version- very nice looking.
