Well done. This is now a document of history, that people in the future can watch when they learn about this dark time in human history. Im totally biased, because I love Cape Town, but couldnt think of a more perfect place to film this. The beauty of life and the divides between us is really well captured in this short. Reminds me of Kooyunasqautsi of similar!

Im also from Capetown area but now living in Canada. Flying drones myself this is one of the best ways to see the beauty of Capetown.

This is very true. No special effects required!
Goose bump material, and not in an eerie, unsettling way. But a good, wholesome sense. Seasons change, the sun rises and sets, everything has a time, except human behaviour, wants and desires mostly. Here we are forced to retreat from the world for a period of time that but a geological blink of an eye, and already the world is a better place. Our economy faulters because of it's current form. It assumed unrelenting activity for 'growth', meanwhile it was destroying the world we stand upon, the world we breath, the world we need more than it needs us.
I hope we don't throw this gift outa along with the wrapping.

Did you need to request ATC clearance or authorisation from the CAA to fly in such proximity to aerodromes and houses etc?
If you actually read the description you would see they have all the required permission to be flying...
@@ChrisRogers Both you and I know that the vast majority of viewers never read descriptions....or even watch videos completely!
We complied with all CAA regulations to capture this footage.
@@stepabove9825 Not questioning whether you had permission. Was just curious what steps you had to go through to get clearance, I know the CAA can be very strict, even from a GA perspective.
