Yeah reminds me of when I talk to my therapist they ask me a question then when I respond with something that’s traumatic to talk about I always forget what question they were asking me. That’s why when he said that it really hit me.

The saddest part is the question was just "did you know she'd been murdered" but it's almost like anytime he thinks about it he just feels guilty for not being there to prevent it. Heartbreaking too because you can just tell they were great parents, but it's a sick world and unfortunately you can't be there 24/7 😞

My daughter was killed by a man she went on a date with about 25 years ago. He shot methamphetamine into her arm and she immediately had a heart attack. You don't have to tell a person that you're sorry you weren't there to help them or that you have remorse about it. That person knows you would have been there if you could have been. They know you loved them. You don't have to feel guilty for not being there.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I also lost my grandmother (45) and uncle (12).
They were both shot to death, my uncle died trying to protect my grandmother, it broke my heart when I got the news because he was like a brother, I always had a suspicion that my grandfather had something to do with it because he would get a lot of money off the insurance. Also he always had his cameras working and suddenly that day the cameras stopped working, plus he had an affair, also the time line of my grandfather never matched, the whole what He said. He said he had left for a hour but he took a lot longer, there was evidence on his phone, but since he was friends with the police & I was around 15, I didn't know if police would be part of it or not but now he has no more money and his mistress left him after he gave her everything. I'm so sad, I just pray that they went to heaven and now rest in peace, he missed everything that happened over these years, but now he'll just rest❤🕊

Jessie was as lovely, smart, ethical, just, and talented as this video portrays her. Jessie and I had just become friends a few months before she was killed. I wish I'd had more time with her. I've spoken to Buck before and after Jessie's murder and I can't think of a pair of parents who deserved this tragedy less than Joy and Buck Blodgett. But in a testament to their love as parents, I know how much they've devoted themselves to carry Jessie's thirst for justice beyond her death.

Well, as someone who spent time in jail (super minor issue) I can tell you that in jail, they actually hold the same morals we do. But they handle their views differently, they rape and beat people only if their crimes deserved it usually, that means the child rapists, and family murderers are put down, constantly. The inmates have families and girlfriends that they are dying to see, so when they hear you killed yours, they come at those people. Lot of jail heads are in for drugs and/or robbery/theft. I never realized this until I was in. But they are actually good people trying to improve themselves in there. Least in mine anyway, and I can only imagine how bad of a time he has had in 2 years.

God!!! Hearing her mom scream in pain reminded of me when my mom died. My mom died of a brain aneurysm in 2019. My dad tried to wake her up and she wasn't waking up. He screamed for me and i came in and checked if she was breathing. I was shaking and I was soo out of it. I started screaming and that whole day I was off and on crying and her death finally hit me on the same day going to my aunts house. On the drive there I started shaking and crying again and fell asleep. It was sooo hard losing her, I was a big momma girl. We ended up getting her cremated but I have a good story about it. She was at the crematorium for a few days, and I was always thinking of mom before bed. I had a dream or a last visit with my mom. (When I was younger my mom and I talked about what happened if we died like it was normal, idk why tbh we were just a bunch of weirdos. I always said "You better visit me when you die, she laughed and said nah I would haunt you. Then we would laugh. She always wanted to be made into a ring. ) anyways when I had that first and last visit of my mom it was beautiful. It was nighttime and I was in front of a football stadium. I saw different people everywhere but there was a woman who was wearing a red shirt who's back was facing me. I automatically knew it was mom so I called out to her. She turned around and started crying, she told me how much she loved me and how she wished she could hug me and be with me. I cried and said i love you. Later that day when i woke up I noticed I missed a phone call from the crematorium saying that they cremated my moms body. I knew it was a last visit from my mom. Hug your parents and spend as much time as you can.
Losing my mom changed me and my sleeping habits. I can't sleep as much and I get super stressed wjen its hard to wake up someone.

And that is the reason why he "the father" can forgive his daughters killer, because he gets the killers actions and mindset as he shares similar traits himself. He the father is cold as steel and ice to his very core! There is something very unsettling and emotionless about him "the father" that I find equally as unsettling as I do about the killer. The father a calculated unsettling character himself, and why I thumbed down as he unsettles me completely.

I don’t care if it’s negative to hate someone. If someone kills my sister you wanna know what I’d do? Next time I see his face I would brutally kill him.
You might think different. But the truth is, forgiving something for this kind of crime is exactly what the killer wants. Plus, you hating them won’t make more hatred, since they are literally in jail.
I’m just saying, if you forgive anyone for this bad of a crime (especially against you’re own family) then you are making their life easier. You don’t make anything better. Love and kindness solves nothing against pure evil. I give props to your positive mindset, as mine obviously isn’t as positive, and you can believe what you want, but I’m just saying, forgiveness, love, and kindness isn’t what this person gave to the girl, and he shouldn’t get any in return.

If someone hurt my son or daughter I'd literally turn into the Punisher, I know rage doesn't heal anything but I couldn't imagine feeling any other way. Let's hope that I never have to be put in that position. What happened to Jessie was a tragedy and highlights two very important facts: 1) Many crimes of passion involve people that are well known to the victim 2) If the police in this story were inhibited from running a random license plate neither of these cases would have been solved, take a minute to think about that.
