You know I’d love it if mezco did a batman year 1 figure, based on David Mazzucchelli’s art I’d be over the moon. I feel like the naturalistic, you can’t see the muscles through the spandex style of his art would really sing in a 1:12 collective figure. The accessories would be cool too. He’d be a low tech Batman.
I have a feeling that Mezco reuses bodies for their figures. They had a series of three Batman figures from three different eras of his career, Ascending Knight, Sovereign Knight and Supreme Knight. Despite Ascending Knight being from early in his career and Supreme Knight being later in his career all the figures used the same body. I also have to admit that I have WAY too many Mezco Batman figures and I literally have one on the way. The Gotham by Gaslight figure should arrive soon.
