This song makes me remember the good times i passed with friends before i lost them, i miss my friends, i really miss times and times from 2022, 2023 times got hard and 2024 got even worse. I'll wait for the better times because i know it's for some reason, but for me I just need a honest hug from someone who loves me, I don't feel loved. Love is hard, makes us blind and sad. Want to cry but i remember these good times i had.

hard to believe it came out 55 years ago? you really think people 55 years ago were primitive monkeys or something? You definitely haven't heard anything from the '60s other than The Beatles and the songs that have become a stupid tiktok trend if you think like that. please 10s zoomer kids stop calling tvu indie and comparing the legendary band to today's indie bullshit and billie eilish because today's indie music and billie eilish is shit and you dont know about culture and music. @@jdjsjsj8027 Interesting, they were basically saying it's timeless but you instantly went on the bitter defense. Maybe that's your own bias? Instead you can look at it positively, that roots of classics like these can still be found in Indie music of today.
You don't have to understand it or like it, but no need to be bitter that younger people are finding and appreciating classic music that they otherwise wouldn't.

@@vf-tst usually when new people say TVU sounds like today's indie artists, they mean Billie Eilish or people like Lil Peep XD Like wtf? they contributed nothing to the music, they are not creative and they don't sound alike at all and their work is only about being edgy and writing lyrics about being gay and eating xanax for "alternative" 12 year olds who have no other activities than watching tiktok. If people are to be interested in the culture and music of the 1960s, I love that and I encourage my friends to familiarize themselves with old psychedelic music, if zoomers are to comment on a topic they have no idea about, I dont get that and people shouldn't comparing them. Btw you know indie artists who are actually indie and do something comparable to TVU?

And all the times I had the chance to.
    I've stopped my rambling
I don't do too much gambling
    These days, these days
These days I seem to think about
How all the changes came about my ways
And I wonder if I'd see another highway
    I had a lover
    I don't think I'll risk another
    These days, these days
And if I seem to be afraid
To live the life that I have made in song
It's just that I've been losing so long
    I've stopped my dreaming
I won't do too much scheming
    These days, these days

The band was not happy about Warhol making them perform with her. She was a bit of a primadonna, often making them get onstage late for performances and going off key, though that was probably because she was partially deaf.
Still, I must admit I attended 6 of the 15 or so concerts the Velvet Underground did at the Boston Tea Party between '67 and '70, and the full Exploding Plastic Inevitable show at the Savoy Theater in Boston, and I did like Nico's performances. I really love this song! I'm a 14 years old brazilian girl, and it's rare to find someone in my country who likes this type of music.
I will update this comment if something cool happen in my life.
Stay safe, everyone! Always put effort in the things you do and have determination!!!
Edit 1: Hi! It's been 2 years since I've commented here. Now, I am 14 and it's not being the easiest phase of my life, but this doesn't mean that cool things are happening!

1:19 that warm sounding power strum. Wish I could get anything to sound like that. The vintage feel. Doesn’t have to be vintage thought I think modern music should utilize its warmth

Seperating the art from the artist here. I do deeply love and connect with this song, her voice is gorgeous too and makes this music so unique and fitting.. I can't say I adore the artist however, and that is okay. Nico could've been a better person for sure and I'll remind everyone of it. That doesn't mean I will stop listening to this, I'll just thank Nico for sharing her song with us and that is all I'll thank her for.
