Chances are, however, whether you moved or not, you will be taken into custody. This is where your 2nd piece of luck will come into play. If you are locked in a cage, you are screwed. With no arms, you cannot pick locks. However, if you are tied to a pole, you can free yourself. 3. Lucky break #3 comes with the patience to wait until nightfall and the hopes most of your captors will be sleeping. If you able to go unnoticed, it is possible to sneak out of camp. Having a solid game plan and knowing what I was doing, tried this at least 2 - 3 dozen times. Despite the fact the majority of those times I was tied to a pole - as opposed to being locked in a cage - I was successful less than 1/2 a dozen times. This leaves only a less than 20% chance of success. Only 2 of those times, by pretending to play dead, did they leave me alone and wander away from me. Every successful escape came around 3 - 4 AM game time. If you end up in a cage, delete, recreate and try again. If you end up on a pole, you still have a remote chance. Hey Frankie… I’ve been watching some Kenchi content for a little while, but finding your channel and getting a real idea of the tips and tricks you’ve discovered and explained actually gave me enough confidence to buy it and give it a go. So thanks for that. Considering it’s one of like 3 PC games I’ve ever purchased, and I mostly watch game content should indicate how big of a deal that is to me. Keep it up… also, I was curious if you had intentions of diving into other games? Or are you waiting for Kenshi 2. I have to imagine the developers have made an attempt to nerf some of your exploits.
I'm extremely happy to hear that you gave Kenshi a try because of me! Thank you so much for letting me know that. As for other games I have considered trying out other ones like Rimworld or Project Zomboid I believe it is called. I do play other games a bit off stream like Isaac just to pass the time every so often or Noita but I am pretty bad at those. Definitely am praying the K2 news every day hah.
so while training Stamina I found that after the mob starts attacking you and you take off a robotic leg you'll instantly get KOd for a few sec, the character will play dead so you can back up right away. not sure if its different than the regular way of doing it.
Kenshi, the game where being legless is a literal godsend for any Stealth / Thief builds simply due to that instant max level Stealth when in Sneak mode 😂.
is there a map or list, which tells what each area's hostile homeless spawns can have what max running speed (with their equipments)? I know this: cloud ninja - 21 mph max I want to know about max speed of: fog prince inquisitor
No map like that exists. Inquisitors I believe can get up to a max of 23mph? Oh but with their boots dropping their skill unless I am mistaken it goes down to 22mph? Fog Princes won't actually chase you on their own only Fogmen will unless provoked or in a ruin that they own.. But I believe they are around 21 to 22 mph.
Lovely beautiful broken run - i'm glad i found you through AA and AdNoctem! In response to the discussion to the no cut efficiency mods, i remember when the armour overhaul came in. Prior to that, the only armour worth having was deemed to be samurai -for its 100% coverage and huge protection compared to anything else - and the overhaul saught to offset that by giving armours more meaningful debuffs the heavier they got, as well as adding buffs for lighter armours. The NCE mods seemed like a kneejerk attempt to revert the changes the devs made to the game, without actually playing the game enough to appreciate the changes. Just my opinion, but having played pre and post update, i prefer post update as pure QOL.
The crazy thing is that light armour is way better for winning fights vs humanoids than heavy armour is. The mod just breaks so much. Turning a Leviathan hit (145 with no armour) which does 15 damage after Crab Armour, Samurai Legplates and Chainmail and NCE turning that into around 2.7 is just so OP. That being said thanks for watching! AdNoctem is very fun to watch. He's a super chill dude. AA as well of course! Thanks for coming by :)
You might already know this and just don’t use it, but if you hold down shift, you can move an entire stack of items at once. There’s a couple times where you rearrange stacked items in your trader’s backpack one at a time. Good video though! I’m rediscovering your content after finding your excellent Kenshi Fact of the Day post series on reddit
I do! Not sure what parts I didn't use it at... Was it when I was stealing? I think sometimes if I have stolen stuff which doesn't stack with other stolen stuff or non-stolen stuff I usually just drag a few at a time. Still good to mention that! And glad to hear that! :)
Really neat! I love how you edited the character to be silent like Ray too 😂 I thought about doing a challenge like this with a non-skeleton actually. But with the goal of re-paying all the debt. Slight edits would be to making Mongrel non-hostile (works for lore reasons + you'd need to have at least one town to be able to sell stuff to, to make $$). I'm not even sure it'd be a challenge after a while though, maybe more of a grind. So probably boring. And no matter what in any of these torsolo type starts, like you said in the first few minutes of this video... it is an "RNG-fest" to begin with anyway 😂
Big time RNG fest for sure. In the end it's a bit skill too as in sometimes you can prevent a death if you know when you sit tight or when to just rush forward but sometimes you just get caught out. Like Torsolo starts sometimes you can just get a Skimmer nest right near Heft slowing you down and potentially leading to death/starvation by making you wait. Oh and if don't know how to set something like that up hit me up. I cut out the start of the stream where we made the mod but it took like a few minutes.
Awesome playthrough! I've seen several videos of this particular challenge, but yet to see someone set the win condition as getting out of debt and actually succeeding. I want to see if it's possible 😅
I want to see this as well. I imagine it’s such a time consuming challenge I don’t imagine any popular streamer or channel will take it on considering it would pull them away from making steady money making content. With that said, I can imagine the actual video posted would receive a lot of views, but, would the juice be worth the squeeze? I literally just bought the game, and already I’d like to give it a try lol.
Hey Frankie, I know you probably addressed it in the video at some point but I cannot for the life of me find it. How are you able to get the 50% XP boost to strength around 2 hour and 37 minute mark without carrying anyone? Is it the Garru bag?
I did! Around the time I Toughness train. If you pickup a corpse, walk far enough away from where it was picked up at, save the game, load the game. The corpse will despawn and you'll keep the 2x STR XP until you pick up a new unit or are picked up yourself. One of the exploits I discovered!
I have a question frankie. Why do you think sabers are good? I looked it up on reddit but I never saw anyone there say sabers are good. The majority think it's just for dedicated tanks, but why have that when you can just equip your PCs with falling suns and destroy basically everybody.
Sabres are good because they have good damage, decent reach and have more bonuses compared to debuffs. I play mostly only solo so I never really "tank". I will say though a Polearm user will body a Heavy weapon user when fully kitted out. Sabres aren't the best but they are pretty great.
@@FrankieWuzHereThank you for responding. Tbh, I wasn't expecting to get a response. I have one more question though, what do you think is a great build for sabers?
At around hour and 15 minutes you start explaining that Skeletons are better then Shek in combat, but you never explain what exact advantages give them so much higher winrate. Care to elaborate, please?
Sure! Skeletons have 75 more health than Sheks in their Vitals. Skeletons have a higher average hit chance in their chest than any other part of their body. In other words Skeletons not having helmets isn't that big of a downside. When you fight 1v1 as a Skeleton vs Shek the Skeleton wins a majority of the time. To add onto that the best armour to win fights vs humanoids is light armour so tanking up isn't actually that useful. Polearm is the best dueling weapon in the game and it has armour penetration so even if Heavy Armour tanking up (What some people claim Sheks win when doing) was good it would be countered by just using the best weapon. I have a video showing a Shek vs a Skeleton fighting on my channel ua-cam.com/video/0bjF5kyZydY/v-deo.html which some people took issue with. The Skeleton won 25 battles of 38 total. I was told on Reddit that I didn't set up a fair fight... That I should give the Shek Samurai Armour and a Paladins Cross and that the Skeleton will lose then. So, I swapped the Skeleton to a Polearm and Assassins Rags, and gave the Shek what the people on reddit wanted and well... ua-cam.com/video/AAiLTByovCI/v-deo.html The Skeleton won 15 of the 16 total battles then. Some people have just been misinformed for so long that they swear that Sheks are better when in reality Sheks are great fighters but Skeletons are just way better.
@@FrankieWuzHere Ohh, so basically it is because as Skeleton you effectively have hits concentrated into a single body part, while having that body part having the highest HP and being easy to protect. Did I get it correctly? Do other races have similar hit considerations?
@ Well it's more so the 75 health. The hit chance just leads to much less head hits. Soldierbot (Agnu) is even better. Tbh Skeletons are very weak compared to Soldierbot. Soldierbot makes Skeletons look like Hivers.
It was very difficult if you wouldn't get a Squeleton (no recover, get all points instant when repairing itself)+ no arms and legs (+100% sneaky) = easy game
I also made the character dumb so I cannot talk to others. Similar to Ray and Agnu.

It's a cheese strategy some people use to Toughness train. I feel it's a little too game breaking to use it myself but if you want to go ahead :)
thanks for putting this on youtube, would love more vods :) also shoutout my fellow narcoleptic!
Kenshi, the game where being legless is a literal godsend for any Stealth / Thief builds simply due to that instant max level Stealth when in Sneak mode 😂.
You got me addicted to this game!
Hope you enjoy your new addiction!
We are making it out of the cannibal plains with this one 🗣️☝️🔥🔥🔥🔛🔝
is there a map or list, which tells what each area's hostile homeless spawns can have what max running speed (with their equipments)?
I know this:
cloud ninja - 21 mph max
I want to know about max speed of:
fog prince
inquisitor
Oh it was definitely stolen goods haha, I think copper ore or something. That makes sense! Thanks for the reply!
No problem! And ah good then! :)
5 hours of peak kenshi content.
Really neat! I love how you edited the character to be silent like Ray too 😂
I thought about doing a challenge like this with a non-skeleton actually.
@@FrankieWuzHere Awesome - thanks for your help as always!
I'm not fan of watching streams so thanks for uploading this to YT.
Any reason? I'm kind of in the same boat minus a few people. Everyone else I watch at 2x speed. I'm a lil... impatient.
I ask because I’m always capped at 25% when overloaded, unless I’m carrying someone then it’s 50%
I did! Around the time I Toughness train. If you pickup a corpse, walk far enough away from where it was picked up at, save the game, load the game. The corpse will despawn and you'll keep the 2x STR XP until you pick up a new unit or are picked up yourself. One of the exploits I discovered!
I usually don’t like “game” a game too much but this isnt so bad
As in stuff to wear? Once you are done training 2x Skeleton Arms, Scout Legs, Crab Helmet, Dark Leather Shirt, Assassins Rags and Samurai Legplates.
@@FrankieWuzHere thank you.
What were you planning to build using ai cores and ancient books?
Didn't really know tbh 😅
how to play "Impossible Start Insane Edition (Plus)", what mods needed?
Here you go enough people have asked so I published it steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3192049226
thanks@@FrankieWuzHere
No problem!
Is there a steam workshop mod for this
No but if you'd like I can upload one.
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3192049226 Here you go.
What ui mod you are using

@@FrankieWuzHere thank you
tried this run a few times and keep getting a right arm and no legs in the research tower lol
What other mods do you have installed?
Can one scavenge limbs from other skeletons?
Sadly no skeleton has actual robotic limbs. They just have normal skeleton ones. Not to be confused with Skeleton Arms/Legs.
Kenshi is a great game!
So, I swapped the Skeleton to a Polearm and Assassins Rags, and gave the Shek what the people on reddit wanted and well... ua-cam.com/video/AAiLTByovCI/v-deo.html
The Skeleton won 15 of the 16 total battles then.
It's impossible if not a Skeleton. You'll be picked up instantly and no* way to escape.
those sheks were innocent?
Is anyone really innocent? In my runs I take out the most fearsome units/leaders of the most fearsome factions in my eyes. Esata is one of those.
good video
please more streams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bro, can you please make a video on how to defeat Armor King? Thank you.
