Anyone thinking that “commercial” brass players don’t play with a full and controlled and round sound, hasn’t heard Wayne, Doc, Vizzutti, or other top tier pros up close and in person!

I don't know who they are, but they are not your friends. "Commercial" players receive such distinction because they are the best of the best of the versatile musicians.

Great player, but how do you actually do it?

To practice, hit any note and slowly bend it sharp until it pops into the next partial. So E in the top staff space will pop up to G on top of the staff. Then slowly bend the G flat until and returns to an E. Keep going back and forth slowly. Then you can center your pitch in the "no man's land" in between those two notes. This would make it so the tiniest bend upwards or downwards will move the note. Then as you are centered in-between those notes do a wide vibrato. Make sure to blow enough air to support the notes. As you play higher it becomes easier. Hope this helps.
