@@FyreflyesFollies I've never canned pie filling before, can you please tell me how to use clear jel with your recipe? (I ran out and bought zucchini, apple juice, lemon juice, and clear jel and then I realized I didn't know how to include the clear jel...lol)
Fyreflye's Follies I made the mistake of telling my 12 year old they were zapples so I have to be creative with my approach now. I’m processing regular apples today but I’m going to make the Brown Betty with the zapples and see if anyone is the wiser in my house👍🏻
This is genius!!! I've been canning for over 30 years and I sure am learning a lot from your channel. Thank you.
Wow- this is a fun one for sure-.will be trying it
Thank You!! I hope you enjoy!
never heard of this!!! will give this a try.. thank you so much!!!!!
It really is delicious! I have some "Zickle" videos coming up in the next few days... Zucchini in place of cucumbers for pickles...

@@genevadouvier2473 Let me know how it turns out and how they like it!! I fooled my (very picky) boyfriend with them...
Yummy😊tx
This looks good. Would quarts be processed for the same time?
I have never done quarts myself. I asked and have been told it is 20 minutes
Do you put a thickener in afterwords to thicken it up?
Mine is actually thick enough to make pie straight from the jar. If I needed to, I would add a little cornstarch slurry to thicken it.
What is your attitude? Im above 4000 ft, so trying to figure out what I'd adjust for my altitude.
