People in UP are not going to vote in goons even if you think the present government is too religious or whatever. United States governments have always been devoted Christians but that did not stop digitialization and infrastructure. People in UP are getting used to seeing safe and clean and well maintained roads that dont get clogged in water anymore for days, dont get left looking like they belong in Ancient Indian villages. We like the infrastructure and buildings being maintained along with greenery. It feels good knowing I can come late from work without feeling anxiety and fear. Things are nothing like they were years back.

Unemployment in up in Last 5 years dropped from 17% in 2016 to 4% in 2021, this is very good achievement of BJP.
650km+ highways made in 5 years compared to only 450km in last 15 years before BJP in UP.
Mafia and Gunda raaj has come to end, mafias are in jail or are dead, girls and women walk on streets after 10 pm at night without any fear currently in UP.
UP's ranking in ease of doing business has gone up from rank 14 in 2016 to rank 2 in 2019,a great achievement in just 2 years.
AIIMS and 30 new medical colleges and hospitals launched in 5 years of BJP compared to only 12 medical colleges in 70 years before 2017.
Talk about safety and security, development, education, employment, electrification, Yogi ji has done it all. BJP deserved to win and they did.
Hathras police is No. 1 Police for women safety.
Every political groups has some pros and cons . If another group come yesterday they also do some good and worse things...

I am a native of Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh and I can say that BJP has made development possible in the region. Apart from development, girls can now freely move anywhere around the clock in the streets and roads of Uttar Pradesh. Crime and the monopoly of Yadavs have been zeroed. Politics, on the basis of casteism, has come to a halt in my state. Previously, in the rule of SP, Yadavs, and criminals considered themselves a god, like they could kill and rob anyone they wanted. Cheatings in exams and employment were at the peak in the SP's rule. People of a specific caste (i.e. Yadavs) always had a bigger hand in the appointment and selection. SP's leaders have always embraced unfair means. In the end, I can't forget how Mulayam Sigh Yadav had ordered to kill hundreds of saints of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Manipulations and unfair means in the elections can be seen now also and i have seen it on my own.
Actually seeing the comment i came to know how yogi ji has transformed uttarpradesh and actually uttarpradesh is really becoming attractive investment destination with improved law and order

According to you BJP do polarization and religion politics thats wrong . when there was SP government elctricity was about to 4-6 hours a day but today it is 20- 24 hours a day . when Akhilesh yadav was CM there was lot of loots and I would say GUNDAGARDI , ROBS at that time the party workers of SP came at our society houses and shows us the pistol and take money from us and this thing happens in every month and if we go to the police station SP workers were sitting on the chair of CI and SI this is the actual situation of ground . And this is true that electricity cut at diwali but at eids electricity was availed by the government 24 hours . In 2015 there was a religious festival of muslims at the day of holi and government ban holi from 7am to 3pm and Muslims were allowed to celebrate their festival . And road connectivity of Uttar pradesh is so so much better now .
And the most important thing was the ladies protection , you will not believe that my mom and my sister never gone outside alone in government of Akhilesh yadav because of the rapes and girl molestation . And there are many more things good now a times , i cant type all the things .
I am from Meerut and if you dont believe please come at my district or My state Uttar pradesh and ask the people about this things when Akhilesh was CM of UP .

UP is getting major infra projects which include express highways, metros, airports. It has 2 IIMs and 25 medical colleges.

I am living in Kanpur, UP. Honestly when SP was in power, We had power cuts for like 6-8 hours per day. And if there is any fault, it takes 24-48 hours for the restoration of power. Now, Power cuts rarely happens. If there is a power cut, it comes back within 30 mins. If there is any fault, power gets restored within 4-8 hours. I also see regular police petrol since BJP came. So yea, this point is correct atleast for my city. But yea, i agree, Godi media is so damn stupid. They can actually focus on points like this but they will keep doing hindu muslim :(

Ain’t gonna lie. The time SP was in power I used to think that electricity is supposed to be there for only 12-14 hours. I used to think its kind of a downtime so that they could let the system cool down or something and thats why the electricity cannot be provided longer than that. BJP improved the electricity conditions and now its hardly a one hour power cut in my city. Chain snatching had become so normal…women couldn’t travel in rickshaws because some assholes on bikes would snatch their chains and sometimes while resisting many women would even fall down from the rickshaw and hurt themselves. My mother had her earrings snatched while she was on her morning walk. It was THIS easy for those people. They were fearless. Cut to 2022 chain snatching, bikes getting stolen…women being catcalled…all of this has decreased significantly. I’m not saying everything the BJP has done is good or they are the ultimate bearers of truth and all. Believe me they aren’t. But they have done much more than the other parties atleast in UP. They have some issues to deal with and I hope they start addressing them and not continue with their religion narrative.
Absolutely correct. Everytime criticizing them for their religious agenda is not good. Even if you are doing so be generous enough to give some credit for the good work that they have done. I also live in UP and what you have said about electricity is absolutely right. There were times where power cut, low voltage supply used to be a pain for us before 2017. But now a days I don't remember a day where power cut duration was longer than 2 hours. Even in thunderstorm conditions power cut happens for a very less time

BJP did give the benefits on ground, like awas yojna, almost every eligible poor family got money for making home, all farmers are getting the sum of 6000 rs regularly, similarly many other benefits were really given on ground.

Although power cuts were very less in SP's tenure as well as in BJP's tenure so no complain on that front... One major difference is Corruption in Govt Authorities.. There was hell lot of corruption in SP's and BSP's tenure... Previously You can't take electricity, water, etc connection without giving under the table money to officials of Local Authorities. But things have improved significantly now. Although, there is lot of corruption in some departments now as well. Like, it's not easy to buy a house in this region without giving amount under the table.. I hope these problems gets resolved in coming years... BJP is hardworking party.. They do advertise themselves like other BIG companies do but they do deliver as well... Regards...

But I'd like to put my opinion as well , in last 5 years , i agree that religious polarisation has increased but there are also several good decisions by this government. Distributing Free Ration During Covid Crisis , "I'd have died during covid , because I couldn't get work for 3 months , the ration helped me survive". These are the words of a labour in an unorganised sector , my father himself was a frontline worker in free ration distribution and he keeps telling us how those needy people kept giving blessings. another point to be noted is , rules and regulations & Laws , last time we had a great mess here , conflict between communities and the main person behind all this were local goons of our idea. Nothing happened after this election Because they're already in jail. Point 3 Is already highlighted by many commenters that they've done a revolutionary work in field of electricity and i agree with that.

Actually i live in UP, i dont how caste politics and gunda gardi improves in BJP's 5 year tenure, but the power cut problem was solved amazingly, i live in rural area here the elctricity is around 20-23 hours in 24 hours compared to 14-15 hours in 24 hours in SP tenure. Repare of any faulty line became instant and any fault now repaired instantly within 1/2 hr to 1 hr compared to 3-55 hrs in SP tenure.
Brother i also live in UP Maharajganj District but i never seen electricity more than 14 hour.

It's true that there's been increase in Radicalization in UP. But I being a resident of UP, can tell you that there's is definitely improvement in Infrastructure under YOGI government. Before 2017, electricity was there only for 12-14 hours. There were complete blackouts for days. Now there is light for 23-24 hours.
My grandparents live in a village, the road just outside their house was a kachcha road(main road of village. ) I have seen for 20+ years. Only Yogi government made it Pakka Asphalt(not sure of spelling) road
