They were and still to this day the Best Band Ever. I have been a Beatles Fan since I was very young and I continue listening to them every chance I get.
the Beatles were so great by the end of their career that it's easy to forget how great they were early in their career... that album from 1964 is full of great songs!
Brilliant guitar work by George Harrison, a real pro. It's not how many notes you can play, it's how you get music and feeling out of those notes. Harrison got more feeling our of that Spanish guitar solo than some heavy metal electric guitar player with fast fingers at full volume can get in in a life time.
Carlos Santana said it best in an interview from the 1980's that I recall vividly because of his words..." What good does it do you to play a million notes a minute if you have no soul?" I think he was going after the hair bands with the Eddie Van Halen clones and their garbage noise...hit it right on the head.
This 1964 song is the one many historians point to as being Paul McCartney's 1st true classic. Paving the way for his 1965 All Time Classic, YESTERDAY. A C, your Beatles reactions are wonderful. Your open mind is serving you well. I hope you continue on this Beatles voyage. Best of luck to you and please, keep up the fine work !! RNB
I remember when the album A Hard Days Night came out with this song on it. Even an 8 year old like me could tell how amazing The Beatles were with this their first album of all original songs. It’s great to see you enjoying it for the first time so many years later.
I remember when I was younger I say around 8 years old myself my youngest brother and two younger sisters would make a band in the backyard of our house and we would sing Beatles music of course I had to be Ringo because I always wanted to play the drums so I used to bang on the trash cans😂😂😂
Loved watching you react to "And I Love Her," Cynthia. I was 17 in 1964 when this album was released and my girlfriends (they were all serious Beatles fans like me) got together and listened to the album for the first time, we SOBBED while listening to "And I Love Her"! It was (IS) SO BEAUTIFUL. You should watch their first movie "A Hard Day's Night" as they "rehearse" the song on a set, and It is SOOOO beautiful, how they are arranged on the set and the lighting (the film is in black and white) WATCHING them perform it, and seeing Paul singing it, makes it even MORE beautiful. Other songs I would like to see you listen to by the Beatles is "FOR NO ONE" (someone else here mentioned that) which is another gorgeous song from Paul; "HERE,, THERE AND EVERYWHERE;" "ACROSS THE UNIVERSE;" and "BECAUSE" the 3 part harmony on this will BLOW YOOUR MIND!!!
No Marketing in Beatles 45´s... The Conventional Wisdom was that the A side was the good song and the B side was the throwaway filler... In Beatle 45´s there were no throwaways since Both Songs were usually Great and they left you wondering which was the A Side Hit...
Great reaction! Please do a reaction to "This Boy", from the "Meet The Beatles" album! There are great harmonies on that song and John really soars on the lead-vocal part! Also do "Not A Second Time", which is from the same album (or on the EMI/British release of "With The Beatles")!
Nice one Cynthia, interesting to note; as they only worked with 4 tracks at that time that 2 of them were for Paul's double tracked vocals, while the other 2 were for guitar and percussion..
Niceee song from this classic BAND! UR Reeeaction is just PRICELESS U make me feel deeply how passionate U go through the motion of this song for that n so much more truly apreciated ur EMOTION! Ur truly one... CONGRATULATIONS!!! MEXICO will always feel the Love!! P.S.I Looove UR CHANNEL!!!
One of my favorites, actually learned how to play this whole song, including the solo. I think it's a beautiful love song, the Beatles didn't really have any relationships when they were touring America, except for John Lennon who got married in 1962 to his girlfriend Cynthia Powell.
Ruben, actually that is not true. Paul wrote "And I Love Her" for his then girlfriend (from 1963 - 68) Jane Asher, Ringo was involved with Maureen Cox who he knew before they became famous, and married her on Feb 11, 1965. She was the mother of his 3 children, they were married until 1975, George met Pattie Boyd on the set of "A Hard Day's Night" and they married her on Jan, 21, 1966. They were married for 10 years and then later she married Eric Clapton,
@@patticrichton1135 I knew Paul and Jane asher were together but I didn't think it was that long, or Ringo, I thought he met her later, but that is George's future wife on a Hard Days Night, thanks for the correction.
From the hot summer of 1964, The Beatles music prior to the advent of psychedelia was an exercise in 'less is more'. Just by allowing the whole thing to breathe much more seems to sink in.
Hello Cynthia, it is always a pleasant time watching you react to the songs I loved when growing uo. 😊 I still love them and glad newer generations, from all over this planet are enjoying them as well for the first time. Good music is Good music, no matter by whom, where or when recorded. Keep an open mind throughout your musical Journey, I recommend Fleetwood Mac for some more amazing and diverse music. For the Beatles, try Across the Universe, incredible John Lennon ! 🎸 You are beautiful and brighten the day for all who view you, 😎
Hi Ms C., U know i Like Love Ballads, Steve Perry is the Lead singer of Journey.. I think he has the best Rock voice.. He did some songs by himself, please review "Foolish Heart" (Official Video), then some Journey Songs.. ♠W.G.
Thank you for your beautiful reaction to this Beatles love song, Cynthia! For more Beatles songs to react to you could try "Tel Me Why", "From Me To You" and "Baby's In Black"! For non-Beatles recommendations how about "Vincent" from Don McLean live in 1972, "Old Man" by Neil Young live in 1971, "The Battle of Evermore" by Heart live in 1995 or "Hi-De-Ho" by Blood Sweat and Tears? What a beautifully expansive sound on this track! There's no more romantic song in the Universe - the PERFECT expression of Young Love.

Yes....the early Beatles were charming...easy to let the more progressive years inundate that. I love their early music.

The bridge George plays is sublime, it’s perfect, George is the man! The right man for the Beatles
Fabulous song. You can never go wrong with a classic Beatles.
This is a PERFECT record. Absolutely flawless. And this is just four guys -- a classical guitar, a bass guitar, a rhythm guitar and percussion.
Love the smile on your face every time you do a Beatles reaction. It lights up the screen.

The maturity in this music is really quite amazing, at this point McCartney is 23, it was fate, like Mozart, the Beatles were meant to be.
