Created in 1977, The World's Strongest Man™ has become the premier event in strength athletics. I love this competition, but it needs to be more accessible!
they have contracts with CBS that prohibited them from posting it until after it aired on TV
@@fewny2691 then they should post the full comp now for the many many people unable to watch previously
@@Jetplan36 they are uploading one full event every day for the next 40ish days, if they upload the entire show then they get less views and worse watchtime

It's still interesting.
They cannot post it, until it is official, TV is their main income. The footage you see in TV has to go through a lot of sectors, such as translations, etc, which takes time. Which then equals being aired on TV around Christmas days. Also considering TV crowd is still the biggest crowd they earn money from, letting them know who is the WSM this year beforehand, would downgrade the interest in seeing the show. Even tho, it is so easy to find out straight, who has won it.
Maxime Boudreault is another great "threat" addition to both of the WSM heats and Finals, looking forward to him 😁

Brian and Travis where very impressive in this event.
CBS needs to allow WSM to stream it live or at least air the show sooner. I hate waiting for Christmas and staring at spreadsheets to see who won. Plus they don't show over half the competitors or events in the show!
What a difficult challenge, frame carry after that barrels
Hopefully WSM can do things different business wise that lets the show be uploaded much, much sooner
Brian loses to much time taking his gloves off. Every second does count.

It didn't end up mattering in the grand scheme of things, but Brian could have won this event if he didn't use the gloves.
