YOU, my friend, are a Saint for making this video. 🙏🏾 It was so much easier to follow along with versus those vague and somewhat intimidating paper instructions. Thanks again and keep up the good work.👍🏾This is a nice solid storage unit and I'm using it for clothes in my basement 😊
Me and my dad used this video to put this thing together.. I would say the video explains the whole thing well .. the instruction manual is in fact accurate but takes abit to take in as its mostly diagrams and no words. Save yourself the hassle and watch this easy step by step 🎉😊
Thanks to your easy-to-follow video, my husband and I - who avoid all assembly products - were able to complete this deck box in less than 30 minutes! We may even venture another such project…
Hi, we are assembling as I type. Box came broken with no instructions. Tried Keter Web site and printed up what we thought were the instructions. Gave up. Went to youtube and found your video. We have to stop and start because it goes so fast, but your the man. We could not have done this without your video. Product is great, using it for outdoor pillows etc to keep the critters from making their home in the pillows in winter. thank you.
Thank God for your Video. Mine did not come with the instructions but from the reviews even if they had apparently they were hard to Follow. So your video was a lifesaver thanks so much
I've had dozens of comments that this deck box had no instructions! It's amazing they wouldn't pack the all important instructions and even the typical hazards and troubleshooting as well. Glad to have helped! Thank you for watching and if you subscribed thank you as well!
Awesome video! It only took me a couple minutes longer to assemble my box than it did to watch your video thanks to your awesome and well presented steps. I was one of many folks that didn't get any instructions (or even stickers on my box!!!) and you helped me immensely. Instant subscription and like here. Keter should be paying you for every view you get!
This was not a easy assembly until I found your video. The instructions included were useless. I had to basically hammer the rods through then it was a piece of cake. Thanks, you get a thumbs u[p and a follow
Thank you so much. Your vid was a life saver. Mine came without instructions and the one the company provided was only partial. I saw a few vids on the assembly but yours was the quickest and easiest. Thumbs up!
Thank you for the easy to follow instructions. This is my first time building some thing of this magnitude by myself with no help and without your video I would’ve been totally lost. I didn’t even need an extra set of hands.
Hey everyone welcome to another video from our Ultimate Outdoors Playlist. We normally upload tech related videos but once in awhile we like to do something a little different. We hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching!
Have you guys much feedback on water resistance? I’m putting one together and think I might through some waterproofing into it. I’m thinking a couple of tubes of silicone caulk, or a roll of butyl tape…and some rubber gasket for the lid. Anyone have any suggestions?
First let me tell you I'm a 62 yr old with arthritis. 2nd my box arrived with no instructions. 3rd your video made this task so simple. It was easy. I needed a small hammer to tap the rods in but it was a breeze. Thank you for your help.
It was $30 off at Sam's- because it was a return. No instructions and some extra parts (!?!). My wife and i were trying to put it together sans instructions and I found your video in time to save our marriage! Thanks so much for documenting this!
Yes absolutely, I keep all of my pool chemicals, pool supplies and yard tools inside and no water or dust or dirt. Thank you for watching and for the kind comments.
I am trying to find a storage solution for some of my power tools. I live in a small house, and I've amassed a large collection of tools that just can not fit in my walk-in closet any longer. My issue is I rent, and I don't want to build a shed, and I'm afraid that these storage boxes would leave my tools susceptible to corrosion. It's better than just covering with a tarp, but still. Looking for suggestions?
Thanks for the video❤. Will the hydraulic latch work once it's installed. Because when I open the latch to install, I don't know how to close it😢😅 thanks
I agree with James Holt that the instructions were almost useless. I’ve been seeing instructions like this, more and more, that are devoid of any text. Many times the pictographs do not always helpful. At first, I thought this video was missing a step. In this box a metal support for the lid ‘slides’ in. On mine, the metal support is screwed in. I don’t it matters. This is a huge box. Funny that at Sam’s Club it’s about $75.00 cheaper that online price at Wal-Mart. 😮
hello, i have the same box. i'm moving now and i need to disassemble it for storage. it doesn't look like it will and there is no tabs to press to unsnap the sides. could you check it out and see if you could disassemble it?
OK I made a stupid mistake and need help. I snapped the 2 short side pieces into the back piece before sliding in the metal bar. I can't get them to unattach. I've tried a screwdriver and crowbar but afraid of breaking the plastic. Any suggestions?
But, try and disassemble if you went out of sequence you can’t take it apart Ok I was able to squeeze it in it is all together now and I like what I see it looks good too 👍
With all of those ridges from the exposed structural grid pattern on the inside will make it very hard to clean and hard to keep dry so mold and milder will grow inside it. Still on the lookout for an outdoor storage container with a smooth easy to clean interior. Let me know if anyone knows of anything please and thank you
I have the 110g storage box but I cannot work out where the metal openings attach. The image in the instructions is not clear, and you cannot see on video.
Just insert the rods on the RIGHT side to go LEFT and push thru. Those bottom feet are numbered as well. Not done assembling mine as it's dark outside now.
My box came without instructions. I followed your video up until you installed the lock latch. I don’t know which one that is. Neither pieces I have look like it’s right.

@@UltimateTechHub I tried using the floor to help me force it back in, but the plastic then just started to crack. So I’ll be taking this back. What a waste of 2 hours.
In the midst of assembly and came across an issue in Step 5. In Step 2 the schematic clearly shows that the metal reinforcing beams insert with the open side of the channel to the outside of the box. In Step 4 the schematic depicts the closed side of the beam towards the inside. However when you get to Step 5 where the 2nd long side wall is snapped into place on the short side wall the drawing depicts the beam with the open side towards the inside of the box. Since disassembly is not possible or very difficult I stopped there. You FF’d through that step but on review it appears the open side is to the outside of the box on both sides of the box. Hope that is correct.
The metal beams where difficult to insert that's for sure. And I think the schematic may have been printed incorrectly because the way I assembled it worked perfect. I've had no issues with it and works exactly the way its supposed to. Hope this helps clear your mind of any worries. Thanks for watching.

@@UltimateTechHub They got me a new box but I have to take this one apart to ship it back to them any ideas how to disconnect the side panels. I tried a crow bar to gently pry it open, screwdriver and a paint scraper lol no luck so far.
I took the caps off the end was able to use a screwdriver to chisel the inside piece that snaps together enough where I could get them to pry apart with a use of a flathead screwdriver. I did it very carefully and by myself and didn't damage it. I was able to put it back together with no problems.

Very helpful video but mine has a third smaller metal rod. I figured it out. It's installed on the front of the lid before adding the lock latch.
It might be a different model box. I bought mine almost 2 years ago and sometimes they make changes to product designs. Thank you for watching.

How does it perform as far as water resistance? I plan on keeping charcoal and smoking wood in it.

Would putting a light coating of oil on the metal pieces help it to slide easier? I just bought 2 of these and will put them together this weekend.
It might help but mine still works great and no issues and no oil.

Is there a way to disassemble this without destroying it?
You can take it apart but it may loosen the connections. Sorry.
I also have 2 similar boxes for outside, on the terrace. The are great. Good luck with the channel.

Hey do you think a gas weed eater will fit in this box ?
Yes probably.
Very good and helpful but you did not show putting in the barr into the lid. 😉 Thanks
It kind of looks more gray than brown. Would you say it’s true brown?
It's definitely brown but it's more like a medium brown. And it still looks great after 1 year of the sun beating down on it.
