- Lofer is a market town in the Pinzgau region of Salzburg (state) in Austria. It also hosts a modest ski resort, with 14 major runs. It is located at an elevation of 626 m above sea level, in the valley of the Saalach river. As of 2001, Lofer had a population of 1,943. Although the valley's smallest community in terms of area (just 55 km²), its population of 2,000 actually makes it the most heavily populated of the Saalach Valley's four towns.

Hi Kaj_Erik. Our hotel was Wohnanlage Grubhof in St.Martin/Lofer. Sorry we rare go to swim when there are such lots of beauty to look at. I wish we could go back again. I am happy you like our little movie and Lofer town. Look at our more videos from Austria. Austria a marvelous country.
