im 39 years old in october and 6ft 3" and im touching the rim etc on one foot/ 2feet but still cant dunk yet I think its my technique , I want to dunk off both 1 foot and 2 feet , im going to have to film myself and analyse it like this. I want to dunk before I hit 40 next year, I have been watching your videos and its helping me get more vertical so thanks for the info you are some dude .
@@tsmith7478 im stil doing daily exercises to build my core and my legs and doing plyometrics im at the stage where im hitting thte rim witht the ball and its bouncing off or bouncing up and in , but not a proper dunk yet I'll get there though haha :)
Give it a try! We have a lot of great technique interventions on the channel! If you find you need some help, be sure to reach out to Tyler over IG @projectpureathlete! Thank you so much for your support!
These Vids r really informative. I am tryinG jump high as well...I also transitioned from a 1 foot jumper to a 2 feet jumper...for the long terms safely purpose. Thats for the material. Gona surely work on mt form as well.👏
I notice this guy is leading with the right arm, but most others I've seen jumping from a left-right takeoff have used their left arm (though that's mainly dunk videos not max vert). Which arm tends to get you a higher reach on a vertec?
Think about it more like staying tall as you push through your penultimate stride. This behaviour will keep your centre of mass behind your plant, ultimately creating a steeper take off angle and more efficient use of power.

9to5Strength left is ideal to compliment natural rotation, but We have seen plenty of right arm reaches.

How do you “stay tall” throughout your takeoff?

How to sharpen block step ?
I'm 194cm and Im going to learn vertical jump.
I can't understand why I jump higher if i make a little jump with both feet before the takes off i can't change to the correct method
I’m the same, did you make it work?
Can you do a video on the neck and shoulders
Bro what app do you use to make that slow mo?
That app is called Coach's Eye
Do you have one for one foot jumpers? my 2 foot jump is not as good as one foot
