You could do a few videos on how you adapt to handling a homestead when suddenly something happens, like someone having a broken leg, illness, etc.. I grew up on a farm in the 1960s, and when a neighbor lady's husband was killed in a farm accident, all the neighbors came and helped finish the harvest. Then the lady had to sell her farm because she couldn't handle it all by herself for the next year. Now she was without her home since it was included on the farm, and had to move to a new school district which was rough on the kids, etc.. Her life changed drastically in more ways than one. How do homesteaders prepare for and cope with sudden life changes like this? Just an idea for videos to make in the winter when your growing season is over. I'm glad your father is recovering!

So happy your dad is on the mend. He has quite a physically hard/exhausting road ahead with that cardiac rehab. I'm 77 and had a heart attack, went to cardiac rehab for 10 weeks - 5 days a week with classes 3 days a week. It was tiring but made a world of difference. Patience as he builds strength and praying all will go well for him too. God Bless

I am 74 and have lived on a working farm for most of it. No one realizes how demanding it is until they live it. With all of it going on, family still must always come first. Seeing your love and concern for family, just endears you more!

Prayers for all of you, especially your Dad. I've been thru that surgery..had a double bypass & a valve repaired. I was in the hospital 11 days..then took me 3 months at home to get back to "normal" I'm 10 yrs out now. I jokely tell people I'm 10 yrs old now. I was clinically dead for 8 mins.
