    Pfft lookahead itself is overrated. Just plan everything in inspection and hope for the best.

    Serious: Awesome video Critical! I actually agree 100% with your ideas. I think this is what I was trying to get at with my video but you did a much better job of explaining it. A balance between TPS spam and relaxed solves is necessary for improving both lookahead and turning. The overload idea is spot-on too. If you're having trouble looking ahead at 5TPS but can look ahead really well at 3TPS, there's no point trying to do solves with TPS under 3. The sweet spot will be solves with 3-5TPS then occasional sessions of 5-7 TPS to provide a different stimulus. Over time you can bring the perfect lookahead TPS up from 3 to 4 to 5 and then have your normal solves improve and be 6 to 7 to 8 TPS.

    I have had tried slow-solving for long, it did improve my look-ahead quite a bit. But once my look-ahead improved, slow-solving seemed like intentionally increasing solve times. At the later stage, the benefits of slow-solving don't outweigh the negatives of the other

    Cubelelo hurricane (weight 1) or storm (weight 2) which lube makes the cube more smoother

    • @criticalcubing
      @criticalcubing  6 років тому

      Not sure. Usually lighter lubes make cubes fast while heavier lubes make cubes feel smoother. Weight 2 should make cube a bit more smoother than weight 1.
