Vintage Fishing at Birch House Lakes, Derbyshire

After a New Year’s resolution - broken in January - to fish every month in 2019, I finally wet a line in April. During the Easter Bank Holiday, fishing with a 3 piece, 13’ fibreglass rod with brass ferrules and an Intrepid Classic reel. I don’t have any expensive camera equipment, just a modest action camera, which I attach to my scooter! Filming didn’t encroach on my fishing and I intend to make and share more vintage fishing videos. A very relaxing, peaceful day fishing the old fashioned way. theretroangler.com
