Rasan. It makes me very happy to read foreign people address us in Greek. We Greeks respect that very much. I am far away from the motherland. I was and raised in America
I love this song. I watched this video over and over. All that time, I was confused what was it? Greek?Armanain, or Kurdish
Certainly from the Arabic name of Ayub Ali. He cant be any of the first too, he must be Iraqi Kurdish lives in And Serina Cross is Lebanese Arminian who did sing in both languages. While the show in Greece !
My confused is that is Laylim Lei is Greek?
And how come all of them understand each other?
And I wish I know Greek language!
I see lots of similarities between Greek and MiddleEastern Arabs!
@@YousefAlways Actually basic Greek is not hard to learn. I listened to a 20 minute of a Turk from Constantinople talk basic. Very fluently as a matter of fact. He was talking about road to becoming a Greek Orthodox Christian. He described in Greek What drew him to the church
It was the orthodox hums and music that enchanted him. As a result of visiting churches in turkey and being captured by byzantine music. He decided to go to Greece learn about orthodoxy first hand and b come a chanter in the church. Of course basic Greek is easy to learn but but educated college l bel Greek is very very difficult. Reading the Bible on Greek is a difficult language to fully understand. But Bible Greek is definitely Greek and having any kind of Greek education will allow understand much of the bible

Thanks for explaining it to mee!
I usually hit the translate button but google only recognize proper languages.
May be the basic Creek is not hard as you said but it makes if happen when it is practiced.
My native language is Arabic, my second is English , and my third was French I had it in High School for 3 years but lost it because I never used it or had to live where I need it.
To me the creek language letters ( Latin) is hard learn.
Anyways I was wondering if Ayub Ali and other two sing in the same language in this video ?

Perfect version of “Leylim Ley” big Turkish musician Zülfü Livaneli and magnificent Turkish poet&literary Sabahattin Ali 🙃
Miss, Leylim Ley is a totally Turkish song from its composer to its lyric writer.. And I know that you know this as your name.
It is totally Kurdish, as far as I know, the Kurdish artist Nasir Rezazi first sang it, and then the big thief Ibo and others translated it into Turkish!
@@helles246 It could be a Kurdish, no problem for me as a Turk. We are brothers and sisters. But it is a Turkish Poem written by Sebahattin Ali in 1937, in his book "SES". The lyrics of the Turk, consisting of three quatrains, are included in the story "Ses", which gives its name to Sabahattin Ali's story book Ses (1937). The composer is Zülfü Livaneli. Turkish composer.
Our Turkish brothers are well known for borrowing music and attribute to themselves . Doesn’t hurt as long as they admit it.eventually music is a universal heritage. Also don’t forget that many Turks are originally Kurds but their roots were wiped out.

please do research before claiming ownership of a something. Most of the ibrahim tatlis songs are kurdish, later translated to turkish with better instrumental. Feel free to ask for proof, I would add all the old kurdish songs from the 1960s and 1970s and show which is the original. Having said that, it doesn't really matter if its kurdish or not. I think music is international.

That's a serbian think, exactly brainwashed by chauvinistic propaganda under centuries. Serbia is like nazi Germany, or todays Russia, making own people believe own lies and hate all neighbors, starting war in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and finally Kosovo. Oh, gotta tell you one more. Serbs came to Balkans under 600-700 AD. Kosovo did exist long time under name of Dardania, an illyrian province. At that time Serbia didn't exist at all but was a bunch of nomad people from the great steps

Anatolia and all Mesopotamia, where Kurds and Armenians have lived together for thousands of years, they are neighbors to each other, they give brides to each other, they marry each other, they are related to each other, they live together peacefully and happily, just like brothers.! Their nature is beautiful, their people never know what is racism, what is enemity. Everyone is friend, brothers, sisters for them.! It is a geography where people love all the nations of the world, love all people. They are extremely hospitable, smiling, warm-blooded / friendly, pure and clean-hearted, well-intentioned, hardworking, productive people! Even if you don't have any money in your pocket when you go there, don't worry! You only have to say this : say "I don't have any money. I don't have any relatives and friends here! I'm a guest here!" Believe me that, every restaurant, every cafe, every shop, every house happily gives you free meals and drinks for days, for weeks, and everybody says to you, "Please come, you can stay at my house as long as you want! I'll be very happy about that. You'll be my honoral guest!" says. They will take you to your destination or they will buy the bus, train, etc. transportation ticket and they will send you where you want to go. Oh, by the way, Kurdish girl Rewşan tells her longing for her hometown Bingöl, as she has been away for a long time, in this song she sings in Armenian... A song full of emotion! (This is a very old folk song.! It is at least 170-200 years old.!).

@@ertancagdas4439 where are these illegal migrants leaving from? Turkey! Who is making money from them? Turkish smugglers! Is Turkey not a “safe” country for them? If not, Erdogan better give the EU their money back and stop threatening to send more to Europe if they don’t pay. And while you’re at it, stop flying illegal immigrants from Turkey into occupied Cyprus and then pushing them across the Green Line. Everyone knows what the Turks are up to…
