The American government has direct military agreements with Japan, ROK/South Korea and Philippines, additionally the American government de facto helps Taiwan and has an agreement with some military articles; also I doubt that there is the serious Chinese threat in the non-Asian part of the Pacific ocean (Australia, New Zealand, states in Micro-, Mela- and Polynesian islands)
And also the modern PRC (Communist China) is not the same gangster state as the RF/Russia is (the only exceptions were in the form of some border conflicts and recent maneuvers, probably under the influence of Russian patterns and some Western withdrawals), especially towards international duties and the usage of its military power (the Chinese political philosophy is more flexible and prefers "the soft power", e.g. the cultural expansion and making possibly "hostile" states economically dependent on China, so the PRC has been not involved in any large military conflicts with its own leadership or at least the single participation for more than 40 years, unlike both the RF/Russia (Transnistria, Tajikistan, Chechnya, Georgia, Ukrainian Crimea and Donbas, Syria, the Central African Republic, Ukraine) and the USA/America (Grenada, Panama, the Persian gulf, Somalia, Haiti, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq)).

In my experience working with the Japanese and South Korean militaries, I have hardly found a more ready force than them. They know exactly what's at stake.
