- August is affectionately named Hawgust on Green Bay for a reason. April is a very close second for very obvious reasons, but there’s nothing like watching 3-7 giant suspended Walleyes on Livescope race down to your bait as it falls past them in deep water. 1-2 pumps is all it takes! 😛 While the odds may have been stacked against us, my dad & I still had an unforgettable trip.

Dude I rewatched you guys falling like 30 times and just as I start laughing at you falling in I simultaneously get this super sad feeling when I see your pops fall over. I guess because it reminds me of my old man. Regardless of how many fish you guys caught, time with our old man is always time well spent!

Great job man! Those big fish sure fight differently in the summer time in that deep water. Those fights can go on for a few minutes and it's just nerve wracking, knowing you could have a 30+ incher on the other end!

It's hard landing those big fish in deep water, using ice jigs, make your dad practice before yu go up there again. I'm 67 and it takes me a couple days to get in the groove again. But I am so addicted to this shit

Good stuff. I was up there the entire month of August. Had some hard days towards the end. I went in the water a few times too! By choice though hah. Good way to cool off.
Imagine the wind and rain you had when you got there don't seem that bad compared to this blow torch garbage we have here now. Looks like you put some nice eyes in the boat and made a good trip out of it.

Do you find the see lite mount and pole to be stiff enough to handle slow trolling speeds?
Absolutely. I can idle up to around 3.5 mph before I’d just assume bring it up. Very solid.
I see you ripping ,but what are you using for bait?
